From The Top: David Lappartient, President of the UCI
@Deuce-DeuceAndAHalf: Agree! In many aspects of life and society, you will find disproportionate representation of genders, races and backgrounds. There will always be a majority group. You see it in Basketball (Blacks), Golf (Whites), Ballet (Women), Engineering (Men, Indians), Nursing (Women). The best thing to do is to let the sport grow organically and reach more corners of the globe. But you make it worse if you shoehorn a particular group at the expense of the other just because they're under represented. What we should do is keep it open. I don't care if you're white, black, Asian, gay. If you like this sport or hobby, feel free to join and see you at the trails.

@AlanMck: Yeah. So you're the dude that calls anyone alt-right or racist or sexist or mysoginist just because they don't agree with your beliefs.

Completely agree. Why is there always a need to make everything "proportional" and well represented. Why should we always blame a group, race or gender type if some are under-represented? Are women under represented because Males are actively preventing them or making it hard for them to go into cycling? Really?! If you apply the same logic, then the NBA should make their league more inclusive to Asians, Indians and even middle-easterners because their dominant Black population are preventing these minorities from playing.

Interbike Cancelled for 2019
Why would Spez or SC pay thousands to share the limelight at interbike when they can get raving reviews from PB, Vital, MBR, WMB, BikeRadar and every MTB YouTuber out there for the price of a couple of plane tickets and cozy resort rooms.

Field Test: Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper 29
Do people hate in-house parts because they suck or because they saved the brand some money? I swear, if Enve made their own Enduro bike, we'd still complain that they used in-house finishing kit and rims.

You can also factor in Gwin and Minnar not featuring in some races. Both those dudes have large fanbases. Then, you got some of the most exciting races in Women's XCO.

Higenamine & Oxilofrine: What Are the Banned Substances that Jared Graves & Richie Rude Tested Positive For?
@catfish9797: You can't rely too much on the levels of the substances found because as proven in cycling, Olympics and MMA, the masking agents are even more complex than the performance enhancers themselves. That's why you can be banned if you have traces of known masking agents in your system. For all we know, Graves and Rude were unlucky coz their masking agents didn't work as expected while the other dopers got theirs right.
