Bike Check: Aaron Gwin's Crestline RS 205 VHP
I got into MTB when I watched AG’s chainless run in Leogang. Now I’m a dad of 2 (toddler and newborn) and haven’t ridden in 2 years. Hope does well and inspire more of us dads back to riding.

[UPDATED] Final Results & Overall Standings from the Finale Ligure EDR World Cup 2024
@jayacheess: From 2015-2017 the EWS did an amazing job of creating different highlights packages for each race complete with interviews and some semblance of a narrative that lets us follow a selection of riders throughout the event. Sadly, these were not replicated since.

[UPDATED] Final Results & Overall Standings from the Finale Ligure EDR World Cup 2024
People here have no idea about how much of a logistics and expense nightmare it is to cover an event/race like a DH world cup let alone an Enduro event. Getting footage from the different stages from non-repetitive POVs is almost impossible without employing an army of videographers with expensive kit which makes producing a good highlights package very difficult no matter how good the editor is. And here we are complaining about something we’re not even paying for

Intense Factory Racing Teases 4 Racers - [Update: Aaron Gwin Confirms He's No Longer on Intense]
This is what happens when the industry (run by consultants and private equity douchebags) think that their audience and market are a bunch of airheads who would make a tiktok when they unbox their new grips.

[Update: Bella Naughton Joins KHS Racing] Racing Rumours: A Complete Timeline of 2024 Team Moves
At the end of the day, the viewers will tune in to watch Bruni, Pierron and the rest of the fastest guys in DH. With money becoming harder to get by, the remaining budgets will go to these top riders. It’s not economically viable to support riders and privateers who are tiers below the elite of the elite. The sooner we accept this reality, the more viable and sustainable racing will be. From there, we can start thinking about growing and supporting feeder series that will lead to WC racing.

Video: Brooke Goudy on Removing Barriers & Why Representation Matters
Thank you for this. As an Asian who have riden in countries most consider majority white, I've never encountered barriers that would stop me from enjoying riding. The truth is, the only barriers are the ones we place ourselves be it motivation or our lack of enthusiasm about this amazing sport and community. I also believe that citing the costs of the sport is a red herring placed by people with their own agendas. I can enjoy a ride in a $300 HT just as much if I'm riding a more expensive stumpjumper. Again, the barriers are the ones we place ourselves.

[Updated] Race Rumours Recap: A Run Down of the Holiday Silly Season
Enduro is almost impossible to broadcast live so we're stuck with weekend recaps making it less thrilling and entertaining even for the hardcore riders let alone casual fans.
Although nobody buys DH bikes anymore, the tension and thrill of a DH World Cup makes it a viewing spectacle and it allows brands to showcase their Halo products to the public which will eventually trickle down to the trail bikes most of us buy.
It's true when they say Specialized builds the Demo to sell more Stumpjumpers.
