Pinkbike Poll: How Many Derailleurs Have You Actually Destroyed While Riding?
@mrmizzle5: I ride right foot forward but feel so much more comfortable and faster (whether I am or not is another matter). However, I’d say 90% of my slide outs are on left corners leading to the derailleur pointing to the sky rather than ground when I do slide out. Only broken one in 12 years of riding and that was when a stick got caught into between the seatstays and chainstays, snapping back and breaking the derailleur

On One Scandal

$450 GBP
For sale I have my 2021 On One Scandal. I’ve toyed with selling this for a while, had it up and taken it down but decided it is time to let it go due to lack of use. The bike is in great condition, there’s only a couple of skiffs on the down tube from being on a bike rack. I’m 188cm (6ft 2) and it fits like a glove. It a great riding trail bike, fast and stable but also inherently efficient. The spec is as follows: Rockshox 35 Gold fork SRAM GX drivetrain SRAM Level T brakes WTB wheel set Maxxis DHF/DHR 2.5 tyres Brand X 200mm dropper post Nukeproof Saddle DMR death grips On one bars and stem DMR V12 pedals Sensible offers only. I live in central Fife and work in Perth. Also happy to travel part way to meet a buyer Please just message if you have any questions.

Pinkbike Poll: What's Your Favorite Type of Mountain Bike Racing?
I was more meaning in terms of wanting to watch. I have no interest in riding/racing it but it is a great format for spectators

Pinkbike Poll: What's Your Favorite Type of Mountain Bike Racing?
Dual slalom is so entertaining and the knockout format works so well for it. I also don’t know why it hasn’t got more votes

Review: 2024 YT Jeffsy Core 4 - A Good Friend
@scotteh: an Orange Switch 6 (so not to everyone’s taste) I’m 6ft 2 and a large is absolutely spot on - 486 reach, 64° HA, 76° STA, 448 CS, 1272 WB with a middle of the road stack so high or low rise bars work for given preferences. Genuinely the most rounded geo for me doing a mixture of trail riding of off piste ‘enduro’ trails. I had looked at Bronsons as well but I also didn’t want Carbon and would have picked up an alloy if it were available

I have a 160(f)/145(r) MX with modern geometry and it’s just the perfect balance. I had 140/140, 140/135 and 170/160 29 bikes before it but my current is the perfect mix between all, a true all mountain bike and I won’t stray in either direction (bar 10mm shorter fork) in the future, it just does everything I need it to well

[Updated with Company Statement] Orange Bikes Intends to Appoint Administrator
I love my Switch 6, perfect balance for me for UK riding. Is a good ‘trail’ bike, can do all the rough off piste stuff well and can get rowdy on loamy woodland trails

Couldn’t agree more. I love mine, it’s super easy to maintain and it’s a total laugh to ride. It punishes you for not being aggressive and rewards you for pushing hard, staying off the brakes in the rough and just generally refining your technique. I’ve had my fastest and slowest runs on it and it comes down to how you handle it
