Giant Defy 56cm New Frame, 2 wheelsets (incl gravel)

$2000 USD
I bought this bike new in 2021. I was hit by a car earlier this year in a minor crash, but it was enough to damage the frame and left brifter, so this is a brand new frameset from Giant with just a handful of rides rides on it. The bike was built up by the service department manager at Cadence Cyclery Lakeside in Flower Mound Texas. New Things: * Frame - 2022 Giant Defy Advanced Pro 0 Size ML (56cm) * Fork - 2022 Giant Defy Advanced Pro 0 * Left Brifter (Shimano 105 hydraulic double) * Giant SLR Carbon Stem OD2 * Bar Tape (Burgh Cycling Stealth X) * Shimano 105 Rear Derailer (6 months old) Upgraded Things * Ultegra Cranks * Carbon Wheels * Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TL tires (28mm) * 3M Paint Protection Tape in several areas * I can throw in a trainer thru axle if you want. Issues * Chain is getting close to replacement time (the cassettes on both wheelsets are in good condition, as are the chainrings) * Rear tire is about 50% worn * Right brifter has a minor scuff (pictured) * Sold without pedals * Will have to ship second wheelset separately (cost) The paint color is cool, it's called "Starry Night", and if you look close, it has a lot of speckle detail. The bike comes with two wheelsets.. 35mm deep carbon wheels with Continental Grand Prix 5000 TL tires 700x28mm set up tubeless with Muc-Off valve stems. The other wheelset is the Giant stock PR2s with Specialized Sawtooth 2Bliss 700x38mm gravel tires installed tubeless. I rode the original frameset hundreds of miles on gravel (this new frame has hardly been ridden at all, and never on gravel). I'm selling this because the insurance settlement took almost three months, and I bought a new bike while waiting (pretty much the same bike). I really like this bike, but I need space in in the bike room, so I need to find it a new home. Payment via Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo. Shipping to continental US only. Will ship in two boxes. EDIT TO ADD: Weight as shown with road wheels installed is 17 lbs 8.7 oz Weight as shown with gravel wheels installed is 19 lbs 2 oz Handlebar is 420 mm wide Cranks are 172.5 mm long

video
The video helped, I was getting the IMG file on my 1030 correctly, but wasn't seeing the features on the map. It was because I had to disable the garmin maps in the activity profile. That detail is critical, and needs to be added to the map download page.

Poll: Does Your Trail Bike Have a Weight Problem?
@EnduroRider1986: I don't know about that, my Canyon Lux xc bike weighs 11.2kg, and absolutely climbs better than my Santa Cruz 5010. It's not even close. Yes, it breaks more and doesn't track even close as well as a proper trail bike. I still have more fun riding the pig, but she stays home on race day.

First Ride: 2019 Canyon Neuron
@wowbagger: "I think they (SUVs) are all that is wrong with the automotive industry, and indeed with mankind itself." This is so true.

First Ride: 2019 Canyon Neuron
@KeksiRoni: Yuk. I can see just fine from my GTI, while it gets better mpgs, handles/brakes better, and is generally a safer vehicle than SUVs. Why people want to drive around (usually solo) in huge living rooms, I'll never understand.
