Review: Squidworx Modular Flat Pedals
@on-the-move: I'm not disagreeing with that - I feel the same. It's just that the Oneup pedals were highlighted as a better option, which are actually convex. So Matt's particular issue with grip in the review isn't about platform curvature/flatness like he says it is, because that would discount Oneups as well

Review: Squidworx Modular Flat Pedals
If the reviewer likes concave but thinks Oneup pedals are grippy (convex), it's clearly not about the profile of the platform, it's about the pins. You can see just looking at these that the pins won't be grippy

Review: We Are One Arrival 170 - An Enduro Race Bike That Can Climb
Weirdly enduro-mtb weren't so keen if you read between the lines of their review. They also said the opposite of this review in terms of mid-stroke support, which they said was lacking. Same shock as well - who should we believe?

XFusion Shox Announces New H3A Rear Shock
I ran a Vengeance on my last 26" bike. It was honestly really great, slightly overdamped but very similar to the 36 RC2 of the time and needed servicing way less often. It beat the Lyrik it replaced (a 2010 model / mission control damper) hands down. The distributor in the UK a the time was Upgrade Bikes and looks like that is still the case.

ND Tuned's New Coil Shock - Eurobike 2023
@justinfoil: Not sure about that. To an extent yes, HSR is directly linked to spring rate, but I'd say preferences for LSR feel vary wildly. I'd certainly give up compression adjustment before I'd give up rebound. I guess this is the problem with lack of adjustments in general though, very few riders will get exactly the feel they want and it's a PITA sending shocks off for retunes.

Review: 6 of the Best Gravity-Oriented Mud Tires
Don't you find they break traction in g-out corners. Like, really unpredictably! Even the standard ones (i.e. not wet) have quite 'foldy' side knobs I find.

Review: 6 of the Best Gravity-Oriented Mud Tires
@johnnygolucky: Depends where you are in the world. SJ Evo alloy frame is around £2.5k here, carbon is more like £3k (these are sale prices). This winter you could get a Nukeproof Mega Carbon frame with EXT Storia or Fast Fenix for £1.8k, or with a Push 11.6 for £2k. I know, apples to oranges, but still...
