Santa Cruz Hightower CC-XO1+ENVE-FOX-Eagle-Extras!

$5555 USD
Up for sale is my 2017 Santa Cruz Hightower CC. It was bought brand new from Santa Cruz in May, but only has less than 500 miles. I don't have the time to ride that I used to and recent injuries and career changes are forcing me to move on from this baby. Mechanic owner, and meticulously cleaned and maintained every ride- which was only about 25. An extremely versatile bike, that can be built with either 27.5+ or 29" wheels, and as you already probably know very highly rated as one of the best all-around bikes on the market- feel free to look up any reviews you can find (there are dozens). It was bought with the X0+ ENVE build kit (retail of $9000) and I immediately swapped out; Guide brakes for XT, Santa Cruz bar for Race Face Next 35, easton stem for Renthal, saddle to WTB silverado ti, and added an MRP chainguide/bashguard. Also (after about 200 miles) I swapped out the Pike and Reverb post for a 2018 36 160 float and a Transfer post respectively. Additionally, I added a Cane Creek Double Barrel CS rear shock, with a 57mm stroke, to increase rear wheel travel to approximately ~152mm of travel to better match the 160 up front, while maintaining the same geometery. I have had no clearance issues or bottom out problems with this set-up however it is not 'recommended' by Santa Cruz. I do still have the brand NEW Rock Shox Monarch rct3, with the stock 51mm stroke, which will be included as well. It has been an amazing bike, in all conditions, comfortable enough to be ridden on 40+ mile epic rides, climbing 5k vert (thanks to eagle!) as well as stout and durable enough for days of list-service. The 2.8 Maxxis Minions (I do have some extra tires that can be swapped) eat up everything in their path, yet combined with the platform of the Double Barrel, and the range of the Eagle, are easy enough to pedal all day. The Enve wheels are the best in the industry for a reason, and every part on the bike was spec'ed with quality, weight and strength in mind. This will be an amazing bike for years to come! Just under 30 pounds without pedals. It is in very good condition, no mechanical issues what-so-ever, enves have decal blemishes from storage (hanging by rear wheel), but carbon is all good. Fork non-driveside stickers got scuffed on an improperly protected shuttle ride :( Specs: 2017 Santa Cruz Hightower CC Large frame, boost spacing, 27.5+/29" wheel compatible Cane Creek Double Barrel w/ Climb Switch, 200x57mm, yielding 152~mm of rear wheel travel- tuned by Suspension Experts in NC Rock Shox Monarch RCT3+ , 200x51mm, giving stock 135mm travel- BRAND NEW 2018 Fox 36 Float Factory FIT w/ HSC/LSC adjustments, 160mm travel, 275+/29, boost 110, 15mm 2018 Fox Transfer Factory 150mm drop, internally routed seatpost, with southpaw lever Cane Creek 40is headset- internal Renthal 60mm stem, 35mm clamp Race Face Next bar, 800 wide, 35mm clamp Shimano XT brakeset, finned pads. 203 ice-tech front, 180 sram centerline 2-piece rear (1 extra included) Ergon GE-1 Factory grips WTB Silverado, ti railled Sram GXP team BB Sram X1 Eagle Carbon crankset MRP AMG guide/bash, 28-34t Wolf tooth 32t oval direct mount ring, also Sram 28t direct mount included (maybe 100 miles) Sram Eagle XG1295 cassette, 10-50t Sram XO1 Eagle chain Enve m60 plus rims, 40mm internal, red decals, mean as hell DT Swiss 350 hubset, DT comp spokes-black, sapim secure lock al nipples, boost hubs- 148x12 rear, 15x110 front Currently has Maxxix 2.8 Minion DHF, 2.8 Minion DHR tires, also have 2.8 Rekon that will be included No pedals/bottle cage/saddle bag Bike is located in Breckenridge, Colorado and can be professionally packed, insured, and shipped for an additional $50.
