First Look: Hope EVO V6Ti Brakes - Six Pistons Are Back
@IllestT: I’v had Hope brakes for the past 20 od years. M4, V2, V4, X2, E4 - all of them with braided hoses - never had any problems. It was always set and forget. The brakes were all properly used in bike parks, French alps…. Never let me down. My longest going one is a tech3/e4 - 8 years, just did a service and they feel like fresh out of the box.

Can MTB Brakes Stop a Honda Fit? We Tested 10 Four-Piston MTB Brakes
The best hack for Shimano used to be to combine a XTR race lever to a saint caliper. It lacked the servo-wave mechanism, hence delivering a more nuanced and linear lever-feel.

@Saucycheese: don‘t put words in my mouth - never said that they are not capable - they made it down that track and quite so.

@Saucycheese: well they are not racing „with“ men are they? They race on the same track. If they were racing with men, then Vali would have barely made top50. That could also be seen as degrading.

@tigerfish50: Well in essence that's exactly my point. Like in alpine skiing - race courses for female athlets are a lot different compared to the ones men race - to accommodate for the differences and still deliver a great race to watch. I don't think it's too far fetched to say, that if the women could race on adapted courses, than MORE women would race WC-DH, and not just a handful (competition anyone...?).

I‘m still a bit in disbelieve. Even though very single female pro rider has at least ten times my riding skill on a bad day, how can it be that nearly all male riders are faster down that track - in the wet and with crashes - than the females in the dry?! :0
