Video: Wyn Masters' Privateer Project Episode 7 with Christopher Philogene
Mad respect to the Privateer Project! Has to be a huge booster to the recipients to keep up the hard yards, not a cheap sport but certainly one of the greatest. Well done Wyn!

@HeadlessIronhorsemen: Had a second look, I stand corrected. Didn't realize another rider broke his frame in the same event. Looked like he was being nice guy and helping BK get his bike off course, but that is clearly a YT not the Pivot, my bad.

Looks like it was the carbon lay up that failed, not the tubes pulling out of the lugs on Burger King's bike. They need to make BK edition with solid tubes the way that guy murders his bikes! Always cool to see non sponsored riders getting on the podium!

Replay: Downhill - Crankworx Rotorua 2024
@BermSkid72: I understand the cost of development was $20k per frame? I think this aluminum lugged glued carbon is about producing a bike relatively quickly compared to making a carbon mold.

Lachie's run was savage! That Pivot prototype head tube failure was brutal, these bikes take such a serious beating you would think they would retire them after something like Hardline.

Pinkbike Poll: How Many Derailleurs Have You Actually Destroyed While Riding?
Tulio would be happy with this poll. Crazy he won't be represented at TDF this year. The tech is reliable enough considering the torture that brilliant little (rear derailleur) gadget is exposed to. I suppose I would consider gearbox bike if I destroyed 18-20 derailleurs in the last 10yrs.

The End of Intense Factory Racing Officially Announced
@vapidoscar: no need to look up the records. Just ask any pro cyclist that came 2nd to LA in the TDF or 95% of the pro peleton for that matter. Doesn't sound right but it is what it is in most entertainment sports. Your right about Greg being the only American being officially in the books. I had Greg autograph one of my bikes, very nice guy! I'm that old to.
