Video: Why Beginner and Advanced Riders Love Blue Trails (and Intermediate Riders Don't)
@ocnlogan: Truth! Trail building is best looked at from the perspective of "what is the most fun trail we could build on this terrain?" not "how could we make this terrain into a blue/black/double black trail?"

Review: Delium Rugged Tires Cut Costs, Not Performance
@kokofosho: yeah came here to say this, these really aren't any cheaper than what Maxxis cost if you don't mind waiting a week to get them from Europe

Review: Delium Rugged Tires Cut Costs, Not Performance
@PhillipJ: I also check my fork and shock every ride. It's not that you need to add air pressure every time, sometimes I end up letting some pressure out. But between the changes in temperature, barometric pressure, and altitude between different trails here, the pressure can vary by 5 to 10psi from one ride to the next and that's a very noticable impact on the way the suspension feels.

It’s Time to Recalibrate Our Ideas About Chainstay Length
I've got two bikes with similar geometry except one has shorter chainstays. The longer stays definitely make manuals a bit harder, but for playing off side hits and popping off kickers how progressive the suspension is seems far more important than the chainstay length. My long chainstay bike with super progressive suspension has way more pop than the shorter more linear bike.

A piece of 1.5 inch PVC pipe works perfectly for setting crown races and only costs a couple bucks at the hardware store

Ask Pinkbike: Vertical Bike Racks, Decoding Chainlines, Brake Rotor Differences, & 'De-Mulleting'
I'm surprised that no one has released some sort of floating chainring system that can slide left to right by a few mm to improve chain-line in the high/low gears.

Opinion: When It Comes To Suspension, Don't Forget The Basics
I've started changing the foam rings, lowers and damper oil a few times a season; and only doing O-rings and a full rebuild every few years or if something is torn. Changing the damper oil in a charger or GRIP2 damper only adds like 10 minutes to a lowers oil changes, and fresh damper oil seems to make an even bigger difference in fork feel than fresh lowers oil.
