Don't know how you're going through a cassette every six months? I have a full-power, full-weight hardtail bike that I use for commuting (turbo all the way) and bike-packing (over 35kgs loaded). It did over 5,000 miles on one XO1 drivetrain and I spent £350 on the replacement parts. That's 7p per mile.
