I think this community deserves to know when one community member acts grossly towards a whole group of members within said community. Especially when the consequences of that behaviour, in this case specifically, result in break of contract from a sponsor. I personally see that as news. Accountability matters.

Actions have consequences, regardless of intent. I'm always proud to see brands stand behind their values, and more importantly, hold their athletes accountable to those values. Even if his apology is genuine, it feels as if he was fully aware of how wrong this was and chose to chase controversy for views and money instead of actually supporting women riders they way that they deserve. Thank you for the coverage Pinkbike.
