The Freeride Pioneers Behind China's Biggest Bike Park
@WAKIdesigns: We could sure do that, but maybe PB isn't the appropriate platform for this kind of conversation (don't scare the trolls, snowflakes, gender-challenged ppl, etc.). :) As a (continental) philosopher, I read Lacan, Freud and Deleuze & Guattari, but mostly for self-observation and trying to get different perspectives on philosophical problems. However, luckily (for them), no patients depend on me, but even I can't bring myself to be kind and patient all the time, especially when faced with such stubborn stupidity by some self-challenging a*hole feeling lucky (probably also talking about a former version of myself here). The thing that offends me is not that kind of behaviour (it's an integral part of our oedipal-capitalist society), it's that the perps usually think that it'd be enough to get away with pretty much anything, therefore disrespecting and insulting the intelligence of their counterparts... Oops, rambling and hijacking topics, sorry for that, now back to BIKES! That being said, @WAKI, I am glad you're here! Keeps the comment section from being too dull and it sure is entertaining! ;)

@WAKIdesigns: Touché. I was referring more to the less obvious reasons for the "stir and shit throwing". Therapists would charge for that, you're welcome Mr. Snowfake. :D

@WAKIdesigns: Surely ticks all the boxes: 1.) presenting an error of logical category as "argument" 2.) if challenged, deflects and goes on to make yet another categorial error 3.) when becoming tangled in their own argumention, goes on to "deny until you die" 4.) completely (or shall I say pathologically) impervious to the presentation of an alternative point of view 5.) either blames the world for everything wrong with their lives or perceives the things and people around them in service to their narcissism... :) Ergo: if you're a troll online, be prepared to be laid on the couch and be vivisected psychologically by people more observant than yourself. :D (Not sure why I am feeding that particular troll today, must be the weather or something....)

@mkotowski1: Ever been "driving while black" in the US? Morals and ethics quite a subjective and relative thing... Also, thanks, I guess, for assuming everyone is grateful for pushing the perceived moral superiority of your world-view on them.

CBD is Being Marketed at Mountain Bikers, What Does That Mean?
@NotNamed: you can read up on different strains, THC, CBD, etc. on leafly.com. Make sure you use a VPN or TOR Browser if you access it outside of North America, you'll never know where that data might end up... ;)

Video: Adolf Silva Rides Out on the Side of a Jump at DarkFEST
Gotta love DARK Fest every time it comes around! Riding is certifiably INSANE and stoke levels are high, while the Northern Hemisphere is freezing their b*lls off, waiting for spring. (I don't do winter riding, Fork oil is like glue, my muscles aren't smooth enough for gnar and my fingertips turn blue, no thank you!) Any time at this point of the year I watch a DARK Fest edit, I am thinking to myself: "Yep, next season is gonna be awesome, don't worry, these dudes seem to have fun already!" Makes the waiting a bit easier. A convoluted way to say: THANKS GUYS! KEEP IT COMIN'!!

Video: Missy Giove - The Champion Mountain Biker Turned Drug Smuggler
What's more, one could even make the argument that early criminalization and the DEA actually helped the MX cartels a great deal to become what they are nowadays. The Sinaloans, the ones who actually formed the first Mexican cartel, were weed producers and distributors for the US for a long time before they got in involved with the Colombians (Cali, Medellin, etc.), which only happened because Reagan closed the sea corridors of the Caribic with the help of the DEA. Criminalization of substances is a form of price control in itself, very few people seem to understand that. Once you control the prices, you can start make money off of it and spread the margins, that's capitali$m for ya, doesn't matter if you're a narco or some schmuck from Wall St. :) As for MTB history, I'd recommend "Klunkers" to anyone, MTB's roots are in counter-culture, and yes, weed played a role....!

Whatever happened to "don't feed the trolls", PB? 400+ comments later, there is still no bad publicity for autocrats, we're all doing a great PR service to these idiots while traffic and ad-revenue goes up on twitter and elsewhere.... :(
