@Andulat: My wife has a trail bike, I have a downhill bike, they charge a ticket for the whole area but exclude certain bikes, therefore my ticket should be cheaper if I can't use all the trails.. I can pedal my downhill bike well, and if it's particularly steep I can walk, most trails around here are shared with hikers so seeing someone walking wouldn't be much concern to another rider. its just weird (and very Swiss) to have such a rule for a bicycle.

I’m in bike kingdom right now and man is it annoying that I can’t take my bike on certain lifts because it’s a dual crown downhill bike. I’m teaching my wife how to ride so I take her on a lot of blue trails, getting turned away because of my bike is very disappointing. I’m even wearing an open face helmet because I’m just cruising behind her giving some tips.
