@stiingya: all of the bikes from INTENSE (Bike shop, costco, online) come the same way 90% assembled – this is a fact, not an assumption – and have detailed instructions along with links to videos for help. I just put one together last night and it took about 45 minutes, 20 of those minutes was setting it up tubeless.

Check out the new axle on this bike. I have a Sniper with a similar style axle and it's way better and easier to use than the old axles with the expander cones.

So you mean, race bike only for shorter people? I'm 5'8" and get along pretty well on mixed wheel bikes. Confidence of a 29" bike with a lower standover, and quicker reacting rear wheel/end. If you can keep your speed into turns and technical areas a 29" will be faster. That being said, they require more energy to get back up to speed and maneuver than a 27.5" (rotating mass).

@hamncheez: I think the Status changed to a full NX build now, at least that's how it's configured on their site at that price. Still a killer deal (although I would ditch the dropper post). This looks similar to the INTENSE 951 offering as far as specs go.
