Athletes, FMBA & Crankworx Forge Agreement, Ensuring Slopestyle World Championship Events to Proceed as Planned
@Jono-wade: Yeah, only for residents of Queensland. As far as I'm aware there's no Queenslanders in the slopestyle.

Stop making fun of the kids weight! He looks exactly like an athletic 20 year old guy who rides bikes a lot would look like.

Jess Blewitt Signs with Cube Factory Racing
@wolftwenty1: But would a $30,000 wage (which Danny might want) vs a $10,000 wage matter in the grand scheme of things when having a race team, where hundreds of thousands of dollars is required to run it. Also, this theory I find this theory hard to believe as Jess if from NZ right, so with Danny being in the UK he wouldn't even need expensive airfares or accommodation as he lives in his camper. So therefore, you would always choose Danny. So essentially as I see it, CUBE probably gives bikes but other than that it's pay your own way. I guess Danny wasn't happy to do this, so they went with someone who was happy to. Just my thought, maybe more of an insider has a better insight though.

Jess Blewitt Signs with Cube Factory Racing
I guess Danny actually wanted a wage and Cube weren't willing to accommodate that.

Red Bull Unveils 2024 Racing Calendar & Coverage Plans
@casey79: You're just strengthening my argument. As you said CW is a B grade race, yet it gets 5x the viewers the world cups get. Whys is this? because it's on a free platform. Even though the number where never posted I am willing to bet this is what the world cups were getting when they were on redbull tv (possibly even more). So therefore, moving it to a paid platform has probably decreased viewership by approx 80-100%. In my opinion the reason for this because it's ridiculous to pay $25 plus a month for 8 races (7 next year). When your world series goes for just 7-8 rounds its completely stupid to put it behind a paywall! You're pretty much asking for no one to watch.

Red Bull Unveils 2024 Racing Calendar & Coverage Plans
@pgomez: The viewership numbers on Youtube suggest a huge amount. If you compare the views of the Whistler Crankworx DH this year on Redbull Youtube which got a total of 764k views to the most watched world cup semifinal, Lenzerheide which got 147k views. That equals an 80% decrease in viewership numbers Talk about killing something.
