DH Field Test: Frameworks DH - US Made & World Cup Ready
@Stumpclumper: thanks mate! The bikes have moved on a fair bit since the last PB article but it's still a side hig for me so development is slow. It's super expensive to build bikes in Australia. I could order raw basic frames from Asia and finish them iff here but I don't have $100k to sink into a project like that. I'm leaning heavily into 3D printing to help bring frame pricing down but it's still slow going.

DH Field Test: Frameworks DH - US Made & World Cup Ready
@Stumpclumper: problem is Ti is not necessarily a better material for the job and making frames out of say high end chrom-moly is not any cheaper than building with Ti.

Randoms: Bespoked Show 2024, Manchester
can confirm there is literally no money in only making a few bikes a year. It requires a normal job to support it and there is a huge black hole between having to work and make time to build bikes as a side hustle and making enough bikes to make a living. We still try cause making bikes is a super rewarding thing to do and maybe one day your brand takes off and you get a chance to do it full time. There is still very little money in it even then.

Fark. Can't get any live timing to come up. What a complete farce this is. Bad enough the broadcast is shit. At least I got to watch the juniors on Youtube

Tech Randoms Part I: Fort William DH World Cup 2024
It's in the normal four bar position adjacent to the top of the chainring. The curved section just below the rear edge of the rear cover is the spot where the main pivot is. Specialized design philosophy is that horst four bar is the best setup for their bikes.

This beyond epic. The technicality of this line shouldn't be underestimated.

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
@KJP1230: actually Steve Oeat one his WC after he took three rotor bolts out of each wheel before his race. Won by 0.1ish of a second. Lol

@sino428: agree, as a very amateur jumper ie. freakin scared, I find tweaking a little sideways helps me fly with a little bit more balance. When I try to jump straight, I just end up dead sailor and landing awkward.
