@thebikings: That is the idea of the barrel adjuster at the shifter end to make minor adjustments on the fly! the adjuster at the derralleiur was easier to use with the left hand.

Don't Get Hung Up On the Numbers - Opinion
Just dropped the travel on my Marzocchi forks from 160 to 140 well it measures 145mm and I use nearly all of it, the head angle is not as steep, best upgrade or downgrade for a long while

Travel dropped from 160 to 140 this has reduced the head angle to around 68 degrees
