Whyte E160RS v2 size large

$2500 GBP
Whyte E160RS v2 size large. Excellent condition. Rear shock upgraded to Rock Shox Super Deluxe Ultimate. Front and rear suspension tuned by JTech - very plush. Original wheels put back on bike, very little use. Recent cassette, chain ring and chain. Original cranks put back on bike, very little use. Recent bearing change. Very recent tyres, 3 rides. Frame taped. I bought this after a break from mountain biking but just haven’t used it as much as I wanted, family stuff etc gets in the way and I’ve used it about 5 times in the last year. Motor has done 1600 miles and works perfectly, as does everything else. I have all manuals and original receipt. Collection from Hull. Cash or bank transfer only.

Orange Bikes Release The New Stage 7
The most fun bike I’ve ever owned was a linkage driven single pivot. Morewood Kalula, in case you’re wondering. Orange should bring it to the rest of their range.

Poll: Who is the Greatest Downhill Racer of All Time?
It’s Anne Caro. At some races her times would’ve got a decent finish in the mens. It’s a shame her and Rachel were at different times, would’ve been great to see who came out on top. I think ACC would’ve beaten her though, such a natural talent on a bike. 2nd I’d give to Greg, edging out Nico with longevity and having to face stiffer competition.

Video: Andy McKenna on Mountain Biking with Multiple Sclerosis in 'Evolution'
My other half was diagnosed earlier this year, such a shitty disease. Luckily she has a less aggressive version and, thanks to the nhs, we’re really lucky not to have the financial worries of treatment. It’s still changed her life though, and mine to a much lesser extent. Her biggest struggle at the moment is fatigue, but she also has the same sort of symptoms as Andy (and your wife) in that her balance has been affected, along with some loss of feeling in feet and hands. On the positive side, thankfully the treatments available are much better than, say, twenty years ago, and fingers crossed progress continues to be made. F*ck MS, and best wishes and good luck to all affected.

Keep kicking arse Andy, glad you’re still getting out into that beautiful landscape. Big up to your missus, too. All you can do is crack on and make the most of what you’ve got, seems you’re doing just fine at that. Good luck mate.

Video: Friday Fails #241
@Aeyogi: I agree. Common sense to remove something that could cause a devastating injury, especially so close to a landing or obstacle that causes people to get a bit squirrely. This is not the same thing as removing everything from the side of a track, before the hard of thinking join in.
