It looks like the World Cup in Les Gets next week will feature an updated course from the last time we visited. The new track takes a lot of inspiration from last year's P2V Invitational race but there are plenty of new sections featuring grass turns and freshly cut lines through the woods.
Go pro dont do any justice to the last wood, its so steep, B practice gonna make the ruts, and after that its gonna be wild.
Track have everything, built section, off camber wich is rare in a WC track nowadays, multiple lines choice, steep last part etc its basically a new version of the old one, but better in every aspect, riders are gonna love this one I think.
to see it on this pace is really good, I can pay more atention to details. The pros going fast make everything look short, small and easy. More vids like that
Excellente initiative de présenter la piste à vitesse "lente", ca permet de découvrir...les road gaps ont l air méchants! Ca me rappelle dea vieux souvenirs les Gets. J y etais en 2004 quand Steve Peat s est crashé...et que Barel a gagné!!! Greetings from BC boys!
Ahhh? Whee whee? Sorry my French sucks, but on a more important note, this track looks furiously fast. This should make it somewhat possible to finally leave the race canceling covid blues in the Dust! Les Gets it on!
He mentioned that many times, he doesn't want to damage the trail/jumps/turns. The first part has hidden holes too, Flo is a good rider, he wanted to show all the features. I am just sad they didn't put the big drop from Les Gets airline hahaha.
@Ba1rog: I can't believe you weren't able to detect my sarcasm through the pinkbike comment section. But yeah.. I was being snarky because he mentioned it so many times it was annoying.
Uuuuuuhhhhhhh...... Those freshly dug sections don't look like they'll be ready for a race in a week. Maybe they're not as new/soft as they appear, I sure hope that's the case. Or was this filmed ages ago?
@Sethimus: I'm all for rough natural tracks that will cut in and rut up. But the take off for some of those gaps, big ones like that road gap, look fresh and loose, like not compacted. If big ruts form on those, could cause issues. And the "motorway" at the bottom might turn into a cluster if it rains a lot. But idk, I could be completely wrong, its hard to tell just from a video. Otherwise the track looks amazing!
And: merci FULL ATTACK for the vid.
