Matt, if you're reading this, the best thing you could do for GG would be to get some private investors and buy out Will. That muppet has consistently demonstrated his lack of ability to run a business. You're a nice dude and you design great bikes. Your partner has been holding your company back for years. Get that ass hat out of there.

How to Choose the Right Size Mountain Bike in 2023
Across the board, I feel like it's becoming a more accurate statement to say:
"Amateur riders should stick to manufacturer recommendations, Experts should most certainly size down."
I used to be perfectly aligned to a L frame, but now I find myself looking at Mediums, and in some crazy cases even Smalls (e.g. Pivot Firebird - Size L is like a 493 reach or something crazy). Reach has just gotten so ridiculous. If you look at competitors on the EWS circuit, they are almost universally sizing down as well.

First Look: Push Industries' Updated ElevenSix Shock
@cmi85: It's not that it surpasses it, but I have a Rock Shox SD Coil that cost $450 if I recall (maybe $550) that is probably within 10% of my $1,200 Push's performance. I will grant that the Push has a less harsh bottom-out, but not worth any extra ~$800.
And the whole "custom tuned for your riding style" is an absolute load of hogwash. I sent them a nice note about my riding style, level of competitiveness in racing, tuning preferences, current shock parameters/settings and under what conditions I had bottom outs, and I got the same exact shock tune that they give to the 47 year old middle manager who has the same bike I do.
And my shock had so much pre-load from the factory, it rode like rubbish until I fixed it and deviated from all of the wonderful "custom" settings they provided me.

My 11-6 has been the most underwhelming piece of kit I've ever put on a bike. Spending $1,600 on one is absolutely silly.
Also, updated 11-6, but it isn't the 12-7? Lame.

Strava CEO & Co-Founder Michael Horvath Resigns (Again)
Assuming Michael came to this conclusion on his own reflection and not the board's, I applaud him. Hardest thing in the world for a founder is to admit that his/her skillset does not lend itself well to running a company. Despite CEO and founder being two different skillsets, it's often seen as failure when you can't run a company as well as you can start a company.

Review: Leatt Gravity 8.0 Helmet
@Mtbdialed: I mean, I read exactly what you wrote: "I find that pedalling all day with a 1200g helmet ends up fatiguing my neck and shoulders just enough to comprimise my riding at the end of the day."
I stand by what I said. I've worn my 1150g full face for 42 mile, 6,400 foot race days and didn't have issues with neck fatigue. Outside of racing, I just wouldn't wear a full face for rides that long, but to each their own.

Review: Leatt Gravity 8.0 Helmet
This is not an insult, but if your neck and shoulders get fatigued by a 1200g helmet, you need to hit the gym. Regardless of helmet, the number one thing you can do to reduce risk of brain injury is to have a strong neck. If your neck is noticeably fatigued from wearing a helmet, your head will slap around like a bobblehead the moment you are ejected from the bike.
