Poll: How Do You Actually Feel About Cable Routing?
Please add in the poll how many of you have actually had to work on or build a bike that has fully internal routing? I work on all of my own (and friend's) bikes and other than ascetics, do not see the reason for it. I think it is one of the worst trends. Especially the dropper post. Every time an adjustment to the saddle height is made, the cable must be dealt with routing through the frame.

Kate Courtney Receives Fine for Rule Breach at the Mont-Sainte-Anne XC World Cup
In many forms of racing, a wheel (or vehicle or what ever) equates to disqualification. In many lap races, this can also lead to being pushed to the back of the pack.

Now THAT Was a Bike: Psycle Werks Wild Hare
I owned 2 of these through out the years. Worked with Roy Watson to have a smaller frame size made for myself and a few friends out of BC USA bike shop (in Redondo Beach). In fact, mine was one of the first 2 made in that frame size anodized blue. This bike was so far ahead of its time. Lightweight, a good amount of travel and the bike worked great going up hill and down hill.

OneUp Shark 10-Tooth Cluster and MiniDriver - Review
Aloha, totally enjoyed this read. I love/like innovation. I searched for this kind of stuff for a while because like you said above, the 10 tooth cog is pretty much only used when fire-road riding to and from trails. I agree and had pieced together a 9-40, 10 speed cassette a few years ago via the Canfield Brothers Micro-9 set up. It was heavy but worked great but was a dead end because Canfield stopped support of this. Therefore, parts would become extremely scarce. And yes, you touch on the point of having that compromise somewhere in the middle so that we can climb the obnoxious stuff and say we climbed it instead of having to walk. It's a challenge to say we rode it all instead of walking. And then at the end of the day, still be able to ride home.
