The Age-Old Tech vs Flow Trail Debate
10:05: kids are not as polite as they once were, especially the one's who's parents can afford to take them to Redbull events. Also hilarious that Asa is only a few years their senior.

The Age-Old Tech vs Flow Trail Debate
Both is why Trail "Networks" exist, at least to some extent. Go to X local trail network and ride what you like. Of course it's nice to have a bit of everything everywhere, but we're talking about bike trails, not theme parks. Not all local networks have the budget to build (or not build) what you want. Round here there are very busy networks and those old local yokel trails. The networks get hammered on so certain trails and parts of trails eventually need attention and machines are brought in to build stronger, longer lasting trails. Sometimes that means "flow" or "jumps" because the rocks and roots are completely f..cked. That said, money talks and if the only people giving money to a network like one or the other, it can get tumultuous. There are also people building their own trails on their own or shared land with lots of tech and some jumps and drops so one can have all the fun in a single lap, but word of mouth is the only way to find these trails, just like the good ol days. But then someone goes a little to far onto private or state land and screws it up for everyone. All that said, we're just humans with 1st world problems so we need to bitch about something. If we can afford 5K plus bikes and have time to ride them more than once a week, we have it pretty damn good in retrospect.

The photo is definitely rad, but some of the others are much more POY material. More intentional, more intense, more creative, more "this is MTB seen from a unique perspective".

Lear didn't pick the colors. This is a theme throughout the entire Mountains of the Moon production. Check it out, it's pretty rad. It's like an action sports music video for Grateful Dead. Or don't since you don't like the colors.
