Please Don't Dumb Down the Trails
@captainshapely: Deer Creek is super highway smooth from the lot to the wall. White Ranch has seen a steady stream of vandalism in the form of wide and smooth trail work. Lair-O- the Bear, they removed the pinch point. North Table, paved the rock garden climb hear the top. The list goes on and on.

Please Don't Dumb Down the Trails
In Golden Colorado, it's the parks department that comes through with huge machines removing every rock, root and feature and leaves the trials perfectly smooth and 10 feel wide wide. Trail sanitation is a real issue in Denver, made worse by taxpayer funded land managers.

Kali’s New Kru Full Face Helmet Has a Titanium Chin Bar, & It Looks... Different
In 10 years every manufacturer will have copied this concept and we'll all be riding in these helmets, the uglier the better. 100% would wear this helmet for daily trail riding and still have the full-face for park, shuttle, dh days.

16 Rare and Funky Finds from the Pinkbike BuySell
I got to ride a BMW Park Bike, in it's namesake park (Central Park) back in the 90's. Maybe 50 pounds with really funky geometry. Crazy that he's asking $6500 for an incomplete bike.

Boulder County Proposes Major Trail Restrictions for Mountain Bikers
@Lickskillet: Either slow way down, make eye contact and talk to these fellow trail users and/or track-stand. Stop coming to a complete stop and putting a foot down every time you come across another rider. Learn how to track stand, time your interactions so you're not running into hikers and riders at pinch points.

Boulder County Proposes Major Trail Restrictions for Mountain Bikers
@alpinepedaler: Loosing Heil would be a major loss for the region. Not for the quality of the trail but because of the trail access between Lyons and Left Hand and Boulder.

Here's a link to the survey. It reads as if this plan is happening regardless of the feedback. https://bouldercounty.gov/open-space/management/alternating-trail-use/

Boulder County Proposes Major Trail Restrictions for Mountain Bikers
One person, 70 year old Claire Levy is responsible for pushing her anti-mountain bike agenda onto the entire region. In the meantime just 30 minutes away, Idaho Springs is popping off with a new gondola and lift served trails at Virginia Canyon. Add the great trail networks of close by Floyd Hill and Maryland Mountain into the mix, puts Boulder to shame.
