@GabrielleShannon: " I'm making $86 an hour working from home. I was shocked when my neighbour told me she was averaging $95 but I see how it works now. I feel so much freedom now that I'm my own boss. This is what I do ,"
i watched all these vids for an hour, This is what I do
Great to see Peaty back out there. Ratboy f***ing loose as usual. Love seeing him in the Drink Water gear, stoked that he is representing a great cause.
Sure am going to miss Peaty racing. He's the first big name in DH racing I remember. Hope he stays connected to the WC circuit some way. Anybody know what his plans are after this year?
Hell yeah!!! The Syndicate is back!!! Maybe the most professional Team ever?! most Worlds; most WorldCups; coolest Team! at the moment. and for sure the best Teamvideos!!! cheers!
Yep, you know Gee, way to cereal for videos. So cereal he was only in like 3 seasons of the atherton project and 4x3 or whatever the f. That video was super bare bones though. Pretty much just racing and nothing about the racers. Even Rachel was only on there for a bit, they definitely could've added more.
I love watching these team Videos but a couple are not even worth watching i.e. Polygon UR (nothing but a riding video) GT (As well as Gee, where was Taylor Vernon also? I understand how serious they are towards racing but come on)
One of the really cool things about these team videos is that it gives you a better perspective of the course because a lot of their footage is filmed from a different spot than the redbull cameras.
And Ratboys air off the final drop was so stylish.
@urteam to open a whine bottle with a shoe you need to put it inside the shoe and beat it horizontally against a wall. preferably a hard sole and it should be done with 3 beats
Does the rat openly smoke at races or is that just how he acts/looks naturally? Sometimes he looks totally sober and had a serious tone, other times he is an absolute stoned mess (at least it seems that way)
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against him and couldn't care less even if he was sparking up at races (to each his own), just curious if anyone actually knows.
600 pound spring?! Just because Gwin can pull that shit off doesn't mean it works for everyone. Lesson learned I suppose. I'm pretty stoked on Minnaar and how much of a bike nerd he is, pretty cool that he tried a heavy spring for the sake of research basically.
I run a 600lb spring on my VPP M6 and it's spot on. I'd need even higher if I was hitting things as hard and fast as Minnaar does. Granted I probably weigh more than him and the linkage ratio of the M6 and V10 are different but even with a 600lber fitted it's still still super plush and sags under it's own weight. VPPs are wierd.
@Tmackstab: I'm with you on that! Just thought you might be interested in the info. For example, a girl I know, weighs 155 lb. Max., and runs a 400 lb spring on her v10. I can bottom it out on flat ground, and I only weigh 180-185 lb.
@jclnv: I dunno man he seemed pretty miffed when warner interviewed him at that bike shop interview show in the off season. Just shook his head and said he didn't understand how Gwin got so much time on him at Windham. That's gotta eat at a guy mentally.
Palmer is bang on in regards to what he said about Ratty. This sport needs characters. I would rather have a World Cup made up of Palmers, Brycelands and Warners than of a bunch of Greg Minnaars! Less math, more point and shoot. Yeehaw!
minnaar is a chill guy, just more reserved. The guy hangs around rat and peaty half his life and still wins races. Serious blokes would go insane after years of those two haha.
Josh look so stoned and high, really at some points he is overplaying it. Yeah, being loose is good but this guy talks like $hit and he looks high all the time. Would be better if he is a bit more serious, but comparing him and Gee are total opposites...
I got the feeling Ratty is losing respect for Peaty and the thing looks to be getting tired. Also they seem to have done a ton of change to the bike setup and looked like they didn't really dig what was going on and this was also reflected in the results.

Ratboy, the poet laureate of downhill.

I highly doubt a guy like Minnaar is influenced by Gwin's settings.
