Maxxis Unveils Tubeless Ready DH Tires, More 2.6” Options
I'm running standard 27,5x2,5 DH Casing Shorty/DHR II in a tubeless setup with Stan's No tubes Flow MK 3 rims. Works just fine, albeit with a little more tubeless milk.
Where the news?
2,6 = 7% more volume- ok.
I guess progress really is incremental.
Will I buy them? - Yes, IF they're not 1,5x the price of what I'm running now.

As for Rampage - I could do without... . I know it's the pinnacle of the sport and I know free riding is all about pushing the limits. But the pressure of the competition is just too dangerous. The terrain is too exposed to wind. Time for serious rethinking- new place, simply dump it all together, or maybe parachutes?!?!
Anyways, keep your heads up Paul and Aggy!

First Ride: Tantrum Cycles Missing Link Suspension
Cut the guy some slack- this is the first new suspension design in quite a while. The graphics will come around, as have a lot of style attributes of yesteryear. As for the number of pivots- lots of companies are using 4-link suspension or single pivots with motolinks (e.g. Canyon Sender, Scott Gambler ) - this is much more of a benefit. Most of the pivots are inside the front triangle and above the bb... out of harm's and dirt's way.
AND I do like the idea that this might help keep electronics where it belongs- in the office rather than on my bike.
