It seems it would be only a matter of time before Transition finally caves. For whom the bell tolls.

Honest question, in regards to the Sentinel, what does "instantly getting 800% more pitted" mean?

I've got Pirelli's on my KTM, makes sense they're making them for smaller motored bikes.

Kona Teases New Honzo ESD & Shonky Hardtails
@ibishreddin: Weight. And suspension makes up for most ride feel from a material standpoint of frame. My steel Honzo 29er hardtail is heavier than my 29er carbon full suspension Transition Sentinel. For a hardtail, I just feel steel is much more forgiving when you don't have rear suspension, and the weight penalty is worth it.

Kona Teases New Honzo ESD & Shonky Hardtails
I've gone through a lot of bikes over the last 10 years, but I still have a 2016 Steal Honzo with a 140 pike on it. All XT. Flow rims. Nothing special and it's not worth anything. But I can say I'll never sell it. It feels like a big kid BMX bike. Rowdy. Low. It's my borrow bike, townie, winter ride, screw around go to the beech bike. It doesn't get a lot of use as my Sentinel is king, but it's priceless to me. I had an aluminum Honzo that I sold because it was so harsh. Actually really disliked the bike, felt punished after riding it, Got the steal and the ride quality is so amazing. Very forgiving. Same geo, TOTALLY different bike. Will never let it go.

@youknowitsus: I helped build their new facility in Bellingham. And from a stand point of actually working for and with these guys, I can say they were the nicest bunch of people Ive met. Always very gracious and thankful for the work I was doing for them. Always asking if I was needing anything water etc. Just real people who like to ride, including the owner. And this is said being I ride a Sentinel and I dont even own an Evil bike. But knowing who they are as human beings, Id buy a bike from them just based on that.

Photo Story: Atherton Bikes from the Beginning
Just an observation, but I bet I've read 50 articles on the Atheron's in 3 years on Pinkbike, who don't even sell bikes and just T-shirts and hoodies with their name on it. But not 1 on Evil Bikes which makes some really fun rides. Does PB have some kind of grind with Evil Bikes?
