Norco Optic with Bontrager Elite 30 carbon wheel set

$4000 USD
Unfortunately as the condition shows, I haven't had any time to ride this beauty. Since I'm essentially working 5 to 6, 12 hour days on Orcas Island and really only in Bellingham on Saturdays, I'm listing this basically new 2021 Norco Optic C3 29 in a size Large. Barely been ridden and in perfect condition. A tiny scratch on the Rockshox sticker on a fork lower leg, but that's about it. I immediately upgraded the heavy stock Stans Flow S1 wheel set and purchased a new set of Bontrager Line Elite 30 carbon wheels as well as the Rapid Drive hub for 3.3 degrees of 108 points of engagement. This dropped over a pound off the bike and is a very quick pedal. This setup was another $1,600 with the new Maxxis DHF and DHR tires. Both setup tubeless. The bike retails new for $4,100 plus another $400 in tax, but are out of stock, like everything else. 140mm Rockshox Pike with Debonaire and Rockshox Super Deluxe 190x45 with custom DH tune, Shimano 4 pot brakes, SLX shifting and XT rear derailleur. 170mm dropper and WTB saddle. The Optic was Pinkbike Of The Year in 2020, and I can see why it gets rave reviews. Just won't be riding much this summer so investing in some projects on my house. If the bike is still listed, it is still for sale. I can bring it to Orcas Island or meet in Mt Vernon at the beginning or end of the week. Hoping to sell locally as I'm only in Bellingham on weekends, but we could discuss it if you want this beauty and live in another State. You'd just have to wait until a Saturday for me to ship it out. Check out my other past sales and you'll see that all my bikes that I've sold on here have been mint. You won't be disappointed. Let me know if you have any questions.

Slack Randoms: World Cup Speeding Fines, Aaron Gwin's House Tour, Jet Pack Mountain Rescues & More
Just a side note, in the Arron Gwin Cribs Addition, at 12:02....well, I just finally, after 9 months of manufacturing delays got my garage doors installed yesterday that I ordered back in August for the new shop I built on the back of my property, and the side mount garage door opener that he has is the exact same that I have on mine. I feel like some like some kind of kinship with Arron. I wonder if he'll take that garage door opener with him when he moves? Probably so.

Carbon Wasp's Truffle is a 120mm Carbon XC Bike Handmade in the UK
Carbon Wasp? Nice looking bike, but Im curious to the discussions about naming it and how they came up with that? Thats like making a new bike from Ti and calling the company, splashed on the side of the bike in big letters "Titanium Rhinoceros". Surely there are better naming options out there.

GG Announces 2022 Bike Lineup
I'll agree with many others, "I like going fast" in pink, right not he top tube would drive me crazy. Just like I dont wear T-Shirts with whimsical sayings. Would love to try a GG someday though, love that they're made Stateside. But man, come on graphics team.

1Up Launches New Recon 5 & Recon 6 Vertical Style Rack
Ive had the Kuat NV for the last 5 years. Been great, but considered last year getting the Recon and was in email correspondence with Corey of Recon about ordering. That was last spring. Im finally ready to buy so I responded to our email and it was sent back as undeliverable. So I looked online and found he was purchased but 1Up. So I called 1Up and asked about ordering the 4 place rack. They said they're not making it, just the 5 and 6 space so I said how much is the 5 spot rack? He said $1,200 and I mentioned I get prices are going upper everything it seems, but that last year it was $900 and he said "we didn't feel the previous owner was charging enough for the racks". Was kind of surprised by how rude the rep was, as I've heard really good things about 1Ip. Kind of bummed, as Cody from Recon was salt of the Earth, just seems like a really good guy. No thanks. I'll stick with the Kuat.

Cane Creek Warns Against Scam Website Offering Large Discounts
Wow, just looked at the website. It's quite impressive. Looks absolutely legit and most of the items on sale are actually reasonably priced. Not too much off to raise alarms. From links to information regarding product, whoever designed it put an immense amount of effort into it. The red flags start showing up when you get into returns page, and about us page. At that point you can see it's some dirt bag jagoff who doesn't understand the English language.
