Evil Wreckoning CUSTOM. Basically brand new.

$4700 USD
I've accepted to take a foreman position on a new construction job for the next year which will take me 45 minutes out of town each day. So in that, I plan on buying a touring motorcycle that will help me save fuel expenses instead of driving my truck every day when I don't need it. So with not being in town to ride and a new motorcycle needing to be purchased, I'm unfortunately needing to sell my almost brand new 2018 Evil 29 Wreckoning. It is as close to as new as a considered "used" bike can be. Ridden no more than 60 miles and all of which was easy rolling cross country trails and the condition shows this. I never even got the chance to install frame saver tape so you can see just how little it's been used. It's almost flawless. The reviews are right that it's incredibly versatile for being a big wheeled big. Climbs great and wish I had more free time this summer to see what it can do. Never raced or crashed and ridden by a 48 year old man. It's basically spotless. Not even heal rub on the crank arms. I pulled the rear wheel to show the inside wishbone of the rear triangle to show there's barely any marks as well, which is the spot that gets hashed the most in record time from use. Only one tiny nick on the left underside chain stay by the disc which is shown. Tat's the only nick, There are 2 minute "marks" that are too small for a camera to pick up and aren't really marks, more like imperfections, but that's being super anal. And the front head tube has a small "rub" on the sticker from transport in a trailer. I overstate all of this because I like to be crystal clear with no room for question as I believe the term "excellent condition" can be quite subjective. I've been burned once on a potential dirt bike purchase that was supposed to be "in excellent shape". Drove 5 hours and took a ferry to check it out. Well it wasn't even close in my option and wasted an entire day and $200 in gas and ferry fees, so my definition of "excellent" is very, very high. So when I say this is like new, I mean it passes for basically showroom and you wont be disappointed. It's beautiful, mint and needs nothing. Everything is 2018. Here's the list: 2018 Evil Wreckoning 29er size large RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 161mm Debonair RockShox Lyrik RCT3 29 160mm with Charger dampner DT Swiss XM481 30mm internal wheels with DT350 hubs w/ 180mm rotors. Spent the extra $120 to upgrade to the 54 tooth ratchet for near instant engagement. Great sound and worth the money. Maxxis Minion DHF 2 2.5 and Maxxis Minion DHR 2 2.3. Just put all new Stans sealant and ready to ride. RaceFace Next SL Carbon crankset with boots and RaceFace Cinch 30 tooth chain ring. Shimano XT M8000 brakes, shifting, derailleur, 11x46 cassette and chain KS Lev Integra 170 mm internal dropper post WITH Wolf Tooth lever. (best lever, no comparison) Raceface Atlas 35 Stem 50mm length. Rental Fatbar AL 20mm rise 800mm length. (I also have a basically brand new Raceface SIXC Carbon 35 800mm 35 degree rise handlebar I could swap for free if you want a sweet carbon bar instead) Yeti Saddle (I'm certain you don't want this 10 year old fat old mans saddle that's on it now) The bike needs nothing and is ready to ride. Add your favorite chain lube and have fun. It's by far the nicest, cleanest and best shape Wreckoning on Pinkbike right now. There are older and more used ones for the same price or more than what I'm asking so I know what you're getting. And I know I just lost my shorts in selling it. But that's how it is in the bike world and I accept it as no matter the bike, it puts a smile on my face when I have it. Open to shipping through BikeFlights (FedEx) which is cheap and PayPal, would rather though if you could pick it up and head straight to Galbraith where Evil R & D's their bikes and then meet me afterwords for beers and you can tell me how much of a hero you are. Because I'll believe it. Here's the Evil website with this exact bike with specs and geo: Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers

Video: Pillars of the MTB Community in Bellingham, WA
This video is fake news. I for one would like to save you all the trouble if you're considering making such a huge and complicated, financially draining move to Bellingham. Unemployment stays pretty constant at 19.8%. The housing market is really bad and very little inventory and what's left, expect to pay upward of $400K for a fixer (this is true), it rains pretty much constantly and the music scene sucks. The breweries model themselves off of Bush Lite and the local population suffers from gingivitis and 86% have herpes while the other 14% are denying it. There's a certain depression that settles in quickly, giving you less hope with each passing day. If you don't hear from me again, I've ended it and know that I am in a better place than that crap hole. Might I suggest someplace warm and sunny like California? Best wishes. Johnnygolucky

Short travel carbon 29er, por favor. Maybe we could call it a 111, or something like that.
