Transition Scout L, Increased travel, Custom build

$2000 GBP
Regretfully selling my 2021 Transition Scout carbon size large because we've had a baby and I don't have time to ride multiple bikes. Super capable bike with increased travel, has been fantastic for DH days whilst also being able to get me round 50k loops. It's been maintained to a very high standard and has many parts which have been replaced/renewed for the sale. Frame/suspension: Frame: Has got the usual wear and tear marks. There's a small slice in the rubber protector and small paint chip next to it, see pics. Invisiframed from new (matt finish), adds a very nice, almost metallic sheen to the paint. Fork: Fox 36 Performance Elite (Grip2 damper), only had two rides since the last TF Tuned service. Has been increased to 160mm travel which has been a noticeable improvement (this was done after the first TF Tuned service). Shock: BRAND NEW unridden 2024 X2 Kashima (was a warranty replacement, they gave me an all-new unit). Slightly longer stroke than the stock one (which I also increased the travel of), so has around 146mm of travel. Also a noticeable improvement. Dropper: OneUp Dropper V2, 210mm. The front stanchion of this is fairly worn (see pics), but it functions perfectly with minimum play and zero sag when sitting on it. Doesn't sound incredible when actuating though but I'd keep running it if I wasn't selling the bike. Wheels: Front wheel: DT Swiss EX511 on Hope Pro 4, brand new unridden bearings. A few scuffs on the rims but completely true, no loose spokes. Front tyre: Maxxis Assegai 2.5, EXO, Fairly new. Rear wheel: DT Swiss EX511 on Hope Pro 4, brand new unridden freehub (it's got the updated improved version for this hub). Otherwise in the same condition as the front wheel. Rear tyre: Maxxis DHF MaxxGrip 3C 2.5, EXO. Fitted as a spare when I got a flat tyre, but it rolls fairly well so ended up leaving it on. Controls: Brakes: SRAM G2 RSC, 200mm front, 180mm rear. Brand new and unridden - these were a straight swap from a new bike. Handlebars: OneUP Carbon 35mm rise, cut down to 760mm. Stem: ANVL Swage V2, 32mm length. Crankset: Shimano SLX M7100 170mm Saddle: Burgtec The Cloud, Size S/M Drivetrain: The entire drivetrain was replaced only a handful of rides ago: Chainring: Shimano SLX 30t, Climbs like a goat. Chain: Shimano SLX Derailleur: Shimano XT M8120, shifter cable was also recently replaced Cassette: Shimano M6100 No pedals included, open to offers - no trades. Transition have changed the bike since I bought it (aluminium only and increased travel on the same frame) - this is an archive for this version. https://web.archive.org/web/20210304175004/https://www.transitionbikes.com/Bikes_Scout.cfm Collection preferred, would also hand deliver to Forest Of Dean for free, or maybe somewhere else if you've got good biking around to make it worth the trip.
