Up for sale at a special “want to sell so I don’t have to deal with storage” discount rate is my one-of-a-kind G6 Knolly Chilcotin 170. Available until Sept 5th, and the price is $6500 absolutely positively firm AF. Selling due to medical reasons, not because I want to. After talking with my doctor I can’t ride it the way it deserves to be ridden anymore, and letting it sit around looking pretty feels like a waste. This isn’t a typical trail bike for everyone. It’s a very specific, very capable big rig of an enduro bike for someone who knows exactly why they want it. It's the limited-edition (now even more limited edition) 1-of-10 "morning sky powder blue" colour with Alice + Brohm ice cream-inspired mauve decals. There are some signs of use, but the frame is still in great shape. It's a head turner, gets a lot of attention and a lot of comments from strangers. It's not subtle. Size large, but it’s a Knolly large, or S4. Geometry is available on the Knolly site, but with the longer fork it’s not the same as stock anymore. Just know it’s long (500-509mm reach) and very slack (62-63 degrees) for an enduro bike. I'm 6'2" and wouldn't size down, but could if I wanted to. If you're below 6' this won't be a good fit for you. Could probably fit up to 6'4". Yes, Knolly has gone out of business, which bleepin’ sucks. But this is still an awesome monster truck of a bike: full custom build, freshly serviced, wildly capable, and very much not boring. With the 180 mm coil fork up front and 170 mm of coil-sprung travel out back, this Chilcotin is a big, burly, point-and-shoot bike that is hardly out of place with a DH crew. It can take big hits and looks damn good doing it! It *can* climb. You won’t enjoy it but it has the longest available dropper and all of the gears to pedal to the top, just not the geometry, tires, or suspension. And then there’s the weight… How heavy is it, you ask?.. “Why didn’t I spend the money on an e-bike?!” ... is what you will be asking yourself as the bikes fly by you on the fire road, plush coil suspension wallowing and soaking all your energy, especially when you remember that it’s almost the same weight as some e-bikes. Climb trails with switchbacks and tech sections? Good luck. Fire roads? Just remember the tortoise beat the hare. Chili prefers shuttling and lifts. This Chili was built for going down. And it's very good at doing that. Nothing else needs to be said. The spec is a strong mix of premium performance, practical durability, and probably more oil slick than expected: Öhlins, Hayes, We Are One, Industry Nine, Eagle 90, OneUp, Chromag, Title, and Continental. Would you like to know more….? Maintenance / notes: * Built and mostly maintained by Spoke Haven through 2025. Squamish Bike Shop in 2026 (up until recently I was staff at No Limits, where SBS is located) * Well over $2000 spent on it this winter, adding the new drivetrain, suspension upgrade, and service. * Recent full overhaul completed at Squamish Bike Shop. This included; installing the new eagle 90, full linkage service and frame bearing replacement, new pedal bearings, brake calipers rebuilt, new Galfer race brake pads, brakes freshly bled, frame fully stripped, cleaned, greased and lubed. 3 rides since. 1 of those at the park. * Fork and shock were both new (takeoffs) at the end of 2024, installed 2025 and routinely serviced at S4 in Whistler. * Fork was just serviced with the Smashpot conversion a month ago. * Öhlins fork air spring and spare shock coils (3 different rates) included * Fresh brake pads with one park day on them. If I find any spare pads I'll include them. * Brand new tires with one b-line lap on them. I can include a stack of spare tires too. * Rear hub rebuilt with Pinner Machine Shop's titanium Forever Axle at the end of 2025. * Will include a bunch of random spare parts upon purchase, if you want them. * Can be converted to 155 simply by swapping the shock to one with 60mm stroke. Why you would, I don’t know, but you can. And I can give you a brand new never used Marzocchi air shock to do so as an experiment if purchased at full asking price. Get another fork and you can run it 160/155 full air and 180/170 full coil with the simple swap of a fork and a shock. * If you aren't around 210lbs then you'll likely need a new Smashpot coil. $90 from Vorsprung. I can include spare Öhlins coils for the rear to accommodate various rates, but the Sprindex is good for body weight from 220 down to around 190. * It’s in really great condition, but it’s certainly not perfect. There are some scuffs. Nothing major or even noteworthy really. I don’t ride wrap my bikes, scuffs are natural. It’s been ridden. * Current photos are from 2025, before the Eagle 90 drivetrain and Smashpot 180 conversion. Updated photos coming soon. Some things I’d do it if I were keeping the bike. This is considered in the price. * Front hub could use new bearings. * Dropper could use a service. It’s functioning totally fine, it’d just be smoother after a service. * The chain is too short. Or Chili stays are too long. Either way, a longer chain would be better. * Next time the rear tire is off, retape the rim. * The fork air spring is in dire need of a service, I had no intention of ever swapping back so I wasn't going to invest in it.
