The 27.5" Front Wheel Is Dead And I'm More OK With That Than I Ever Thought I Would Be
I disagree. I recently switched back from a 29er to a 27.5 Pivot and I love it. Over here on the East Coast, the trails are tight and twisty. Tech is slow and the features are just smaller overall. I'm not racing anyone, I'm not filming myself for the next highlight reel, and I'm not buying the latest and greatest innovation every year. I just ride. But here's the issue, your preferences and my preferences are both totally valid, but the industry keeps telling me mine is slow and outdated. Then they stop making bikes and parts and soon I may not be able to enjoy my preferences. Maybe I'm just becoming a suborn old man and that's my bias.

Pinkbike Poll: How Many Days Did You Ride in 2025?
Ditto, friend. When I feel like riding, I go for a ride. I'm not into setting an arbitrary goal for the sake of completion.

Opinion: Six Ways The Mountain Bike Industry Could Make Biking Better (For Free)
Adding to the point about tires... can we simplify compounds and features? I'm looking at you Schwalbe. I know we all have preferences, but why are there 47 different tread patterns with 3 sidewall types, with or without reinforcement, in 6 different widths, and 5 different compounds?! And to top it off, your local shop doesn't have the one you want.

Panhandle Bike Ranch Permit Revoked 10 Days Before Opening
A conditional permit doesn't mean that it's temporary. A conditional use permit means you have permission to use the property for something not normally intended under it's current zoning classification, but as long as you meet certain conditions of the permit, then you're good. An example of this might be running a bakery out of your home under the condition that you deliver your baked goods so you don't cause traffic issues in your neighborhood.

e*thirteen Release New Helix Race Alloy GR Cranks & Chainring
@Marky771: I mean, nobody is perfect. But the cups say drive side and non-drive side on them. They also have a directional arrow and I've got the right socket and torque wrench. Should be relatively idiot-proof.

e*thirteen Release New Helix Race Alloy GR Cranks & Chainring
I got a set of Helix cranks last year for only $150 USD. Even at that price... never again. The bottom bracket came with cheap plastic spacers that you could easily deform. The thread on the cups was mangled and their tolerances across their own products is crap.
