I'm sick of the Australian Government and fellow bikers saying "At least we are doing something about it"....... This is what you are doing. You are spending 80% of the funding for trails on cross country.... and I hate it.
You won't build anything in our national parks for fear of being sued.....

How do they not understand that our ski hills would make a ten fold profit during our 10 month riding season compared to their 2 months of worlds worst snow.

A network of trails anything like any bike park in North America or Europe and people would come to Australia to ride, but instead.... everyone who buys a DH bike ends up over in BC or New Zealand......... get it together Australia, I love you but your a *unt

 No doubt. A bit flat - you could shred that line with an AM whip. Nicely maintained trails though.

 One dude was rockin an enduro... pretty sure thats an all mountain bike last time i checked... It's also worth noting that the canadian government doesn't fund trails... So the fact that the Australian government is doing so is impressive, regardless of what type of trail they are building. And I'd like to see any of you ride that trail on cross country bikes... We will see what you have to say after that eh.

 Its a numbers game Mate. There just aren't enough MTBers in Oz and the ones there are have moved there from road bikes or bmx racing or shitty MTBs. Aussies get most things last. But they learn from others mistakes and do it right. When did you see fully enclosed kicker jumps in North America? There is only one groomed trail here in WA and it has Ladder bridges made with bloody steel supports for f*ck sake. The kickers have concreted surrounds. My riding in the States was limited to Florida and North Carolina but I never saw anything like that. After every good rain the jumps were f*cked till the trail crews got to them.
That said Most Aussies just don't get the Freeride/Enduro/Allmountain side of the sport. They are still either XC or DH, Endorphin junkies or Adrenaline junkies. f*ck it I want both and I want to have fun not race. Also you won't get shot here for trespassing so build your own shit. If they tear it down build it better. The north shore got that way cause people didn't give up their trails.
If you build it they will come.

 An honest statement that speaks many truths. Although many people prefer the look of natural materials on the trail features there going to ride but still most people would be happy to just session a top notch trail somewhere new.

 This video was shot in 3hrs between finishing work and the sun setting. Summer nights are long but not that long. These were also my first MTB videos, there will be more to come and they'll only get bigger and better.
