Serious question here - how does pinkbike feel about the potential of witnessing a serious life threatening injury to a female competitor at rampage? While I guess in theory it's no different than if it happened to one of the men, it's quite uncomfortable. There are legit biological differences and the physicality of the hits when something goes wrong at rampage are shocking. I watch every year, and happened to be there in person right by where Paul Bas crashed. Rampage is a bit of a mind&#@#. I love it, but also feel a bit guilty about it - we all know there could easily be a crash that will end the event. I'm all for the women pushing themselves, but I hope it is done right and not just "hashtagged" into existence. Start right now pinkbike - maybe even crowdfund it or partner with redbull to produce a womens event or division for next year!

Where's the hype for joyride pinkbike? No bike checks or any pre event hype? The biggest event of all the crankworx! Biggest crowd except maybe French dh races! Too hungover from a week in the village?
