Video: Innes Graham Gets Back on an MTB 3 Years After Giving Up World Cups in 'Racing Killed the Love'
It's all a double edged sword. If you get sponsored it's normal to be required to race or compete at pro or semni-pro level. If you change discipline it's normal to loose old followers and gain new ones. As long as you like riding bikes do it. But remember that any passion you take from hobby to job will eventually feel like like that 9 to 5 grind.

5 Things We Learned at Red Bull Rampage 2019
@IsaacO: It's not that they run out of batteries so fast, that would be managable in coordiantion. But its the wind and staying on the riders as they go down the mountain. Some Drones were used in the past, 2017 or 2018 I believe. And the footage wasnt quite that great.

Video: Emil Johannson's Debut at Rampage
I remember binge watching Crankworx slopestyle competitions when I discovered slopestyle exists. Tina Dixon was interviewing all of the guys that entered in the finish coral. Everybody was like 'im gonna squueze in another trick, gonna try and go bigger cleaner etc' and here comes this kid with a big smirk on his face and says he's so happy he got to go at crankworx. doesnt wanna go bigger, push harder, he just wants to enjoy that experience.

@chyu: Every guy who even won Joyride can go back and compete any time they want. They basically have a spot reserved for life. Watts, Zink, Brandon. All of them .

Antoine Bizet Pulls Out of Rampage After a Crash in Training
Exactly what I was thinking. Freeride is a natural progression from slopestyle but his main focus has been slopestyle and crankworks. he has been showing himself on the bike bike in Sweden, but it's like he went from dipping his toe in the pool to diving head first. I just hope he chooses a mellow line and doesnt do anything crazy.

Interview: Rampage Organizer Todd Barber Talks Proving Grounds, Explains How Athletes are Chosen for Rampage
If you read the article carefully you can see they use the term 'big bike' to describe the event and not 'freeride'. So it's safe to say that rampage is a big bike contest as well as this one. Love freeride but what I wanna see on tv is this big bike flipping stuff.

Replay: Slopestyle - Crankworx Whistler 2019
He needs to drop the windshield wiper and stick to what he is great at. Every year he introduced a new trick that he didn't master to perfection he had trouble. It would be so great to see this guy get the triple crown, especially after seeing his latest movie. He is a inspiration. And so is Emil. Damn, this is tough to watch...
