If you get annoyed by top noise with a coil, you're probably running too much spring preload. Use 1 turn of preload. Also, really fast rebound doesn't help, you're just losing grip.

Review: Push SV Eight Coil Shock
@dmackyaheard: the RS and Fox alternatives are great, but the Push shocks (both ElevenSix and SV8 ) beat everything else that I've ridden on high frequency. Eg, the top of EF on the high speed turns full of brake bumps, the Push stuff beats everything. This allows running more damping support than you'd normally run, and getting better traction on the chop.

@kntr: this motor IS rotated up, look at the pics. The battery extends further down, it appears. My Levo is similar, which has a cheap, easily replaceable bash guard at the bottom of the battery. It looks like Marin did something similar here, tbv on the cheap/easily replaceable part.

Devinci Announces the All-New Ewoc FS 24’’ Kids' Trail Bike
Some absolutely can benefit from it. My kid is not yet big enough for this bike and has already moved to a 20" wheel full suspension bike. Just because some/most kids aren't ready for it doesn't mean nobody is.

Opinion: Save the Turns, Stop the Straightlines
This is basically the situation on the trails around Golden, CO. The inside/straight lines are usually the most difficult. The windy/turny lines are often going around the gnar.

@mikekazimer: for sure. I would bet $3.50 that most people that claim their bike weighs 32lbs….actually weighs 35lbs.
