Understanding the UCI's New Policies for Transgender Athletes
Has anyone considered asking the racers? If the female or male racers have a majority vote to include trans racers, then do it. If not, then the racers decided, and we can try again next year.

Animoz Announces Technical MTB Apparel Range Made of Recycled Polyester
Polyester is bad no matter where it's from. It's the second biggest cause of microplastics in the environment, and they get there every time we do our laundry, We should be praising brands that come up with natural fibers, that once end up in the ocean, break down.

Slack Randoms: A Braking Bump Machine, Freestyle Death Diving & Carbon Frame Production
@blackghostbike: I did just a little bit of research, and it seems the current state of recycling for carbon fiber has made a lot of progress. Some make the point that carbon has to be used to greenify the world, it's lighter and requires less energy to move around. It's in airplanes, windmills, it's going into electric cars more and more. Right now there are multiple companies recycling carbon fiber, everyone here who doesn't like carbon should do some research, and hopefully update their viewpoint to what makes the most sense.

Slack Randoms: A Braking Bump Machine, Freestyle Death Diving & Carbon Frame Production
The Time Carbon video was enlightening... I know people say carbon bikes create a lot of waste and are bad for the environment, but I'm not seeing that much waste, as raw carbon without the epoxy is just Carbon, the epoxy part is probably less waste than one of those waterfall resin tables. What's missing here... Why do so many people believe carbon bikes are terrible for the environment?

8 Men Charged in $1.5 Million Mountain Bike Shop Burglary Criminal Ring Investigation
I don't know if these were Chileans, but this is a big thing where I live, they want to steal and get out quickly without conflict. I caught one in my house, and he just ran out fast.
But yeah crime tourism has become a thing, it's worth thinking about what leads to that.

Burning Question: Do Bike Brands Have Targets To Reduce CO2 Emissions?
@m1dg3t: Good video, to sum it up, it says old-growth forests is what should be prioritized because they reduce CO2 And it takes 20 years for new plantings to start to pay off. The guy who says to stop tree planting, seems to be saying land restoration initiatives are better, and that involves tree planting plus more... which makes sense....
but we should still plant trees, just not come in and plant one species of the wrong tree.... however that's still probably better than no trees... trees release salts that trigger rainfall, contributing to more rainfall, more rainfall equals more biodiversity = which equals land restoration.

The Story Behind Push Industries' Prototype Linkage Fork
We need more fork options, but no one wants a linkage fork, even it's better, most people can't tell anyway. Please make a fork without linkage.

@dd9433: I had the same issue..there just wasn't much correlation with how I felt and how it said I should feel, I'm hoping they get it right soon, the concept is good. ....On a side note, I know people who are less active really like it.

Giant Releases New Reign E+ With Mixed Wheels
Let me interpret this. "The bike's weight came in much higher than we thought, in fact so high, that most people will not give it a second thought if we tell them. So we had to pick the best option of two bad options, not tell our customers the weight .... and hope they by the time they figure it out, they've already purchased.
