Doing Science: We Measured the Vibration Damping of 8 Handlebars
@eljefespeaks: Fasst bars do work, but after about 4 days of park riding, bushings broke apart, I did this twice then moved on.

Doing Science: We Measured the Vibration Damping of 8 Handlebars
Handlebar vibration is good, but pretty low on the list of things that make DH more comfortable for the hands. 1. Front tire pressure, a heavier tire that allows a lower pressure will have the most effect on dampening vibration. 2. Fork and setting, a good fork with less compression, and fast rebound, equals a lot more comfort. 3. Weight, ebike batteries add mass, that does a lot to dampen vibration in the handlebars. 4. Brakes, until your run Maven brakes, you don't realize how much you're squeezing for dear life.. the harder you squeeze the more vibration is passed to your hands. 5. Grips, some grips have plastic liners, some are all rubber for more padding. 6. Handlebars. Add up how much vibration elimination you get from each variable, and then see how the different in the handlebar vibration even compares, you might find it's negligible to stuff like front tire pressure.. like less than a tenth of the effect.

First Ride: The Santa Cruz Vala is the Brand's First Horst Link Bike
It's like an AI blunder that took the "looks like a session" meme as valid data, and then acted on it. Glorious!

Just buy a Redbull every now and then, and maybe things can go back to normal.. I'll even buy 2 if they give Rob full immunity from the legal team.

Video: Thomas Vanderham & Lucy Van Eesteren Take On New Heli-Biking Trail in Whistler
These ski helicopters burn around 25 to 50 gallons of fuel per hour. Which sounds like a lot, until you consider that most privates jets burn around 300 to 600 gallons per hour... Climate politicians tend to fly on the bigger planes, because they can offset the carbon cost, with carbon credits. You however can not do this, so it's best to just not fly at all.

Understanding the UCI's New Policies for Transgender Athletes
Has anyone considered asking the racers? If the female or male racers have a majority vote to include trans racers, then do it. If not, then the racers decided, and we can try again next year.

Animoz Announces Technical MTB Apparel Range Made of Recycled Polyester
Polyester is bad no matter where it's from. It's the second biggest cause of microplastics in the environment, and they get there every time we do our laundry, We should be praising brands that come up with natural fibers, that once end up in the ocean, break down.
