Inside Öhlins Racing - Swedish Suspension Specialists
It's also very well controlled. I never really notice mine. The sign of a good shock.

Testing 27.5 vs 29 With Vanderham and Gauvin - Video
I think 29ers are more efficient. So if both bikes are the same in terms of potential speed, perhaps at the end of a long EWS day the rider is less fatigued and can threfore be faster.

Had an STX22 on my hightower for a year now. Zero issues.

Ridden and Rated: 7 Long-Travel 29ers
I had a 5010 (amazing bike) and now have a standard hightower. I think it's a great bike, very playful for a 29er. Yeah, gets a little squirrley at speed on rough ground. That's a trade-off on the 51mm fork. I had an enduro 29er before the HT. HT way more playful and responsive.

SRAM Code RSC Brakes - Review
@papaonessa16: I've run them in the past. Guide RE's if you are after more power but similar control.

SRAM Code RSC Brakes - Review
SRAM guide RE. Been running them in the alps and they are spectacular. I like normal guide but fried a set in the alps. RE have similar feel/modulation but loads of power. Basically avid code calipers and guide R levers. £200 a pair on chainreactioncycles.
