Deity is at Sea Otter showing off a ton of new parts, including their Compound pedals. Unlike a lot of other non-metal pedals, the Compounds are not made of brittle polycarbonate that can be prone to shatter upon impact, but rather a nylon fiber blend that Deity claims is far more resistant to cracking. The material is also said to be able to slide over rocks and roots that might hang up a metal bodied pedal.
Total weight is an impressive 354 grams, and equally impressive is their suggested retail price of just $45 USD. Replacement bodies sell for $9 USD.

Stay tuned for more from Sea Otter!
The pic only shows a brief glimpse at the ano detail and we are not yet releasing full images, but if it says anything...every major bar manufacturer at Sea Otter has come by our spot to look at them. Trust us, it is for a reason. Our new 2012 line is insane, will bring us to the top of the game, and we did not even bring any of it to show with the exception of a few of the bars which have been making quite an impression on anyone who holds one.
Preview images will come up on our Facebook page and Blog over the following month or two....
FYI...the pic shown is not our 2012 Dirty30 handlebars. They are the new Topsoils...

We will have them in multiple colors also...
When it comes to investing into our own tooling...this is where our handlebars destroy anyone else and we can surely guarantee that the new bar line will be turning some heads when we launch it.

These new changes and color choices look pretty tasty.
Nice work!
