Poll: Do You Have Any MTB Superstitions on Friday the 13th?
I once got 666 on my number plate. I was so happy, others steered clear.

Ask Pinkbike: The Best Whistler Bike, Tubeless Rim Tape, Dual Crown Enduro Bikes, & Converting to a 1x Drivetrain
@bkm303: I know this is a old post by now but I used kapton tape for the first time a year ago and it was a breeze. I've always had issues with other tape and I'm glad I didn't go the gorilla tape route (that residue would have been a nightmare). I have 2 pairs of wheels setup with kapton tape and I won't use anything else from now on!

10 of the Best Mountain Bike Saddles Ridden & Rated
Agreed!! Fabric saddle with titanium rails for me. From 50 mile trail rides to 100 mile fixie rides to Key West. I have about 7000 miles on my track bike with the same saddle.

The Concussion Taj Doesn't Regret: A Story From the BMX Days - Sunday Comics with Taj Mihelich
A friend HAD a helmet on. She slipped while stopped to put her foot on a curb and hit her head. She stood up and was a bit shaken but seemed otherwise fine. About 10 minutes later she stopped responding, nearly stopped breathing, and thankfully we were close to a hospital. She had a brain bleed and fortunately made it through after a few months in the Neuro ICU (ventilator, skull plate removed to relieve pressure, everything). She is still recovering almost 2 years later, but after that I'm never without a helmet. And being in the medical field, I'm extra cautious when I or my friends have a crash. Respect ya head!!

The Tech Behind the New Atherton Bikes
I've seen this technique in the road bike world with Bastion Cylces (albeit almost 10k a frame...). The lattice work Bastion uses inside each lug is really mind blowing. Glad to see this is starting to come to the mountain bike world!

Ask Pinkbike: Shock Tuning, Flat Pedals, Ride Tracking & More
I prefer to ride with my Garmin, I have specific screens to limit the data I can see while I ride. Then when I stop to take a break, I can flip to another screen and check out all the data I want!

Making a Modern Bike Resemble a Retro Classic
That scratch video was nails-on-a-chalkboard horrible. The end product however is amazing!!
