Race Report: Canadian Enduro League Eastern Cup, Huntsville, Ontario
Looks like an awesome race and great to see more options for gravity racing in Ontario. I wish I had known about it ... the December 2023 Pinkbike post about the Enduro League Eastern Cup had Bromont listed for August. Hoping for next year.

The adjustable head tube /reach and chainstay to switch between 24/26" should be on all kids bikes! Not looking for an ebike for son's next bike, but I will want this feature!

Bike Check: Martin Maes' Orbea Rallon
Bigger rotor gives you a bit more stopping power. With a bigger rotor in the rear, I would likely skid / lock up the rear more often. I wonder what can be done to balance out the front / rear braking with this set up. Or perhaps Martin gets far behind the rear wheel when he hits the brakes.

I think that Finn and Loic's bike set up with the adjustable suspension also helped. The motorway section and the steep muddy section were so different it would've been amazing to change your suspension settings on the fly for both types of terrain.

Forgot camo type paint jobs for prototypes. This type of paint job is much more effective...all I see is the ugly paint scheme and I can't look at it for more than a second. Whatever secret changes or custom bits they add this season will be hidden in plain sight!

Canyon Gap Removed from 2024 Red Bull Hardline
I trust in the Athertons' vision for this event and hope to see the canyon gap in the future with the improvements needed. Similar to the now infamous road gap, these types of features push riders beyond the comfort zone.
My most memorable moments from racing DH is learning/mastering scary new features practice...then hitting it on race run. That feeling is cloud 9.

Pinkbike Poll: If Mountain Bikes Had Never Existed, Would You Still Be a Cyclist?
Mountain biking captured my interest in my early teenage years in the nineties. Bike magazines (no PB at the time!) educated me on what I needed and I got a good entry level hardtail which I used to race XC and DH, trials riding, dirt jumps, and go on amazing trail rides.
Please keep mountain biking affordable and appealing for the new generations. A 35 lbs hardtail with big 29" wheels and heavy/slow tires is not a do it all bike for a teen that can only afford one.
