The insane number of people swarming the course aren’t paying admission though. And the livestream audience is pretty small compared to just about any other sport. I know there’s a tendency to think joyride is a big deal, but from outside the sport it just isn’t.
The only people making bank off Crankworx are the hotels and bars

Yeah, he obviously deserved his spot in the grid. The way they pushed it through was kind of messy, but outcome was fine.
It's good they've formalized it now, hopefully that removes any drama going forward.

With instruction, not only do the instructors vary in skill and quality, but different teaching styles work for different people. Just because your buddy really liked a clinic, doesn’t mean you’ll get anything out of it. It’s a lot more of a risk.
