Video: Racing Psychosis - What Bikes, and Tires Do the Pros Run? - Crankworx Summer Series
Looks like the Assegai has overtaken the DHF as the front tire of choice.

Transition Smuggler XO1 Medium - Outlaw Orange

$4400 USD
This is a really great bike in a really awesome color. If you're looking for a tough-as-nails 29er that can take everything you can throw at it, check this one out. It's 120mm rear, 140mm front but don't let short travel fool you. It's built to party. The stock spec Fox 36 up front should tell you that much. I've never felt more confident barreling downhill than on this bike, and before this I had a 150mm Evil Insurgent. I'm happy to work out shipping with you. I'll take it to our local shop and have them pack it since I don't have the time or supplies to do it right. It's better that way, trust me. I'm selling because I'm going back to the 27.5 wheel gang and can't afford to keep it. For those who are wondering about size I am 5'8'' and it fits me very well. I trimmed the 800mm bars to 780mm. Condition: Very good. Probably about 250 trail miles on it. The tires and wheels are essentially brand new because I used another wheelset. The shocks, dropper, brakes, shifters all work flawlessly. I just had it serviced at Phat Tire in Fayetteville on July 29th and haven't ridden it since. It has a few knicks in the paint and small scratches here and there from riding. A small tear in the back of the seat. You can see all of them in the photos. The bike is the XO1 Complete and is built up with the following parts: Fox Float 36 Grip 2 Performance Elite fork Fox Fox DPS Performance Elite shock RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper with 1x Remote SRAM Guide RSC brakes Stans Arch MK3 Pro wheels SRAM X1 Carbon DUB cranks SRAM X01 Eagle shifter SRAM XG 1275 10-50t cassette SRAM X01 Eagle derailleur All info: https://www.transitionbikes.com/SupportFiles/SmugglerCarbon_2019_WebsiteArchive.pdf P.S. I also have a new 150mm air shaft for the fork, a 2019 Fox DPX2 Factory 210x50 tuned for Transition, and a DT Swiss 240 carbon wheelset I can add on or sell separately.

RAD Apparel Debuts 'Made In Colorado' Mountain Bike Jersey
Yep, sustainable and ethical are thrown around pretty loosely. It looks like their other tees are made with a fairly sustainable fabric blend (recycled polyester, tencel, cotton) so they have that going for them. This piece looks to be made of virgin polyester which is somewhat of a letdown because recycled poly is fairly easy to source. Maybe they wanted to keep a sub $60 price point. Kudos to them for producing a jersey in their home community. At the end of the day, a durable product that is made locally nets a lot of points in my book.

10 Men's Kits Tested - 2019 Summer Gear Guide
It would be great to include specs like fabric content and inseam/outseam lengths to help with buying decisions. Maybe they’re all polyester but if someone came out with something that wasn’t, I’d be interested. Also, mtb kits are just so ugly. What’s the deal? I know Kitsbow makes some decent looking stuff. Where are they?

Review: 2019 Knolly Fugitive LT - A Tough, Versatile 29er
@mikelevy: Makes sense. I’d love to see you review the 2019 Smuggler carbon. Not much out there in its current configuration with the 36 up front — just a cult following of short travel thrashers.

Why not compare it to the Transition Smuggler? Seems more direct than the Ripley. 120mm rears, Fox 36’s up front, both built to tackle steep terrain, active rear ends, etc.

Video: Caroline Buchanan & Anneke Beerten Attend Inaugural Women Shred Cycling Festival in Arkansas
My wife did the all-day clinic on Saturday. Hung out around the event and went riding myself. So cool to see this happening. Several people went from very new and unsure on the bike to feeling super confident in one day.
