The Development of Kavenz's Lugged-Carbon Frame - Project VHP X
Well done guys. I’ve been watching a few of the videos and appreciate the transparency of the process. It’s brilliant to see a small team with limited budget achieve this. if anyone has followed your progress will see the thought and attention to detail and experience you’ve brought to a great product. Good luck with the project

Rotor Announces Uno Wireless Electronic Drivetrain
I have wheeltop on a road bike and the charge lasts way longer than my sram. Approx 3 times longer. You can also hack the system and replace the battery if it starts to degrade. Looks like rotor have improved the charge cable which is a bit shit on the wheeltop. The adaptability to run on different cassettes and fine tune the shifting on every cog is undersold here too.

Intend's New Headset Actually Improves Cockpit Stiffness - Review
funny you mention but weve been working on a steerer tube and stem combo for road bikes using an acros style headset which reduces weight, adds stiffness and will always be in line 100% of the time. there isnt any reason this could be used on mtb but is a fair distance from manufacture.

The Outlier - The Full Story of the Wild Insolent DH Bike
this is the kind of innovation id see regularly in mtb mags in the early 90's. Its rare to see nowadays. awesome! hopefully a big brand will pick up Jean Francois and fund this project further.

Manon Carpenter Retires from DH Racing
Good luck Manon. That's a brave decision but also pragmatic. Life is short and there's loads of things to do. You've reached the pinnacle and no need to prove yourself. Your articulation and mindset will serve you well. If anyone that has raced to a high level knows it's stressful, really stressful.

What's Up at 9point8 - Crankworx Whistler 2017
Great bike setup. The shifter is annoying but these guys do a tidy lever for rohloff. Surely it could adapted. http://singletrackworld.com/2015/10/cinq5-paddle-shifters-for-rohloff/
