Henry's Waffle House: All-Mountain Bikes Are Back, and They're More Pointless Than Ever
Ability, rider size and strength are big factors that aren't considered here. If you're a psychotic gorilla riding a blue trail at mark 9, then that 170mm of travel is quite likely to be used.

Prototype Forks From ND Tuned - Taipei Cycle Show 2024
@Thegrumpymechanic: Have you tried them, do they work? The problem with the old ones was they weren't linear, either in shaft speed, or their position in the travel, can't see a way around that when using compressible air? I guess if it saves 3-400g though, they have their place.

Final Randoms - Core Bike 2024
@WRCDH: Hypercolour was bizarre even as a youth, still I had several, but doubt it would be particularly flattering on a middle aged guy, slogging up a hill.

Thomas Genon Joins the GT Bicycles Roster
Last pic on IG, whats the verdict on the cable routing? I don't hate that as a compromise, better than going through the headset bearings, neater than going through the side of the downtube... dunno? Might not work as well with a single crown and more steering lock?

Pinkbike Poll: How Many Derailleurs Have You Actually Destroyed While Riding?
@owl-X: It’s normally Scottish heather that kills mine, the bottom of the cage where it protrudes out past the lower jockey wheel axle, snags, which either bends out the plate so the lower jockey wheel derails all the time (you really can’t fix it), twists the cage as a whole, or snaps the parallelogram. I do 2-3 a year normally, one will be snapped.

...and its likely just brake oil on the pistons, debatable if it works or not, your pistons don't really slide in and out of the seals during normal use, they just flex on the seals like a little diaphragm. I think they're better just kept clean and dry.
