Nice little intro video to show my classes before we watch rampage at school on Friday.
  • 1 0
Why is Redbull telling me this starts in 35 hours? That would make kick off Thursday pm in the States right? What's all this talk of Friday?

@Mavic101 - teacher of the year! Wish I was able to watch Rampage in school...would have probably paid more attention.

 Call it a physics lesson.

@timrippeth: And hopefully biology won`t come into it!

Only sport I watch with hands in front of my face. Be safe riders!

Teacher: you re using your phone in class, gtfo!
Student: thank you so much

The only thing my teachers ever did bike related was confiscate my mountain bike action and BMX plus mags

Can I come to your class? Please? With a cherry on top?
  • 1 0
Exact same thing I do with my classes every year!!! Makes for a nice little Friday.
  • 2 0
@whisper06: could you come and teach at my school? Please? All the teachers are confused because none of us pay attention to them on rampage Friday, we’re to busy watching rampage! But we do miss some assignments.......

@BenPea: I was wondering the same thing???
  • 1 1
We watch it in my class as well Smile

 @BenPea :

Hello,

Voili, voilou.

(sorry for my bad english).

 @krisstoff: Hola!

And just to prove that machine translation sucks, here is Google translate's version of what I wrote: "That's it, I have eyes in front of the holes and I understood (despite the lack of clarity on Red Bull TV) that what starts at 00:30 is Red Bull Rampage Revealed "(wtf?). is at 19h, but you have to watch the thumbnails of the stream below to see it ... It's a bit silly anyway, since we get rid of things that start at midnight ..."

I can say, hand on my heart. That McGarry's flip is at least top 3 moments. The exposure that flip brought was insane. However, every competitor is a monster. Good luck and i hope they all make it down safe

Where's Zink's epic step down flip and Nicholi's cliff fall?
  • 31 2
for a rampage history video, this video was crap. incorrect years, key moments missing, and no flow to the video.
  • 3 0
@SnowshoeRider4Life: they put Wades crash in it thats all I needed.
  • 2 0
@mhoshal: wade had two of the rowdiest crashes in 04. Can't forget zink went for a ride off a cliff that year too.
  • 2 0
 @SnowshoeRider4Life: bender too lol

and zink 3.6 from the oakley is definitely 2010 and not 2013 for sure
  • 1 0
@SnowshoeRider4Life: was that the same year Cedric had the huge crash in the superhero outfit or was that the year before? That was a pretty gnarly crash too.
  • 1 0
@sevenup: well atleast bender left the cliff on his bike lol
  • 2 0
@mhoshal: Yes. it was on the T-Step. It took out Matt Hunter and Simmons too. Hunter cased and simmons overshot. Cedric overshoot and got out of control on the runout
  • 3 0
@SnowshoeRider4Life: ah those were some awesome times man!!!
  • 3 0
@mhoshal: Cedric wearing the costume in his run was 2004 Rampage. They had perfect dirt and it was the day before Halloween if I remember right. Same year Strait won with a suicide no hander of the sender.

Gee's drop to wall ride. That was pretty significant too!

I would like to see a women's rampage-style event. Can be it's own independent thing. I feel like there's a handful of female riders who might be up for it and have the skills to ride down those mountains. Downvote this if you like, I don't care. Even if they send less crazy lines, or do less tricks, I'd watch it.
  • 5 2
is rampage not open for women to enter?
  • 18 9
hey bro, no one cares what you want. if the women wanted it, they could organize and put it on.. stop trying to force "equality"
  • 10 4
@laxguy: Fact. Absolutely nothing is actively deterring women from competing.
  • 5 5
@laxguy: no one cares what you want either bro, go get a job

@jasperwesselman: uhh actually there is, it’s the fact there are only a tiny number of people who are allowed to compete, invite only or top ten last year get it straight
  • 3 1
@mkotowski1: Wrong. There is no active bias. Rampage is a meritocracy and is no place for equality of opportunity unless we want people dying out there. You have to be top level to even survive a lap out there.
  • 2 2
@jasperwesselman: no shit you have to be top level to survive but you saying there is nothing deterring women from competing makes no sense when it is an invite only event! They aren’t even qualifiers
  • 1 2
@jasperwesselman: so if a woman wanted to compete they’d have to post freeride videos for about five years and win multiple constests to be invited
  • 2 1
@mkotowski1: Yeah what else would they do?
  • 2 1
@mkotowski1: You won't make a point. I worked with Giant bikes on a project which involved a female rider making a move towards rampage. People want it to happen. It's all dependent on who first steps up to the level of the incredibly brave and skilled men up there who worked years and risk their lives frequently to gain this very specialized talent.
  • 2 0
@mkotowski1: are you trying to imply they shouldn't have to show they have the skills to compete? because thats what all the invited riders have to do..
  • 1 1
@laxguy: Lets invite someone without proper skills to go ride down 1000 feet, attempting 50 foot cliffs with fatal crash consequences. For equality.
  • 2 1
@jasperwesselman: i'm game! i havent trained at all for it but let me grab my trail bike, that sound be fine, right?
  • 1 1
@laxguy: I'm gonna send it on my e-bike. I rode the old site once.
  • 2 0
@jasperwesselman: i saw it on TV once, i'll probably bring my BMX just in case
  • 2 1
@jasperwesselman: you and laxguy have fun jerking each other off but if your read the original post that laxguy responded it it was about starting a whole separate event for women... because the there is no chance right now any of them can do the current set up therefore no big televised freeride opportunities for women
  • 1 2
@laxguy: o I see you worked for giant too now, lemme guess they didn’t give you a free frame so you drug their name through the mud as well on the internet
  • 2 0
@mkotowski1: yes. they should go make their own events and ride their own events if they want.. no one is stopping them. thats the point we've been making and you're still not getting.
  • 1 2
@jasperwesselman: o I see you worked for giant too now, lemme guess they didn’t give you a free frame so you drug their name through the mud as well on the internet
  • 2 2
@laxguy: “they,” can’t just go start a televised freeride event, they need industry support to make it happen
  • 2 2
@laxguy: clearly you are a misogynistic small child without a job
  • 2 0
@mkotowski1: Nope, They paid me like normal clients do for work.
  • 1 2
@jasperwesselman: your cool man, hating on small businesses working for be big ones
  • 2 0
@mkotowski1: Big businesses get big because they do business well and build products people want and need.
  • 2 0
@mkotowski1: Small businesses are not exempt from public criticism. You're doing it to me right now. Why are you slandering my business.
  • 2 0
@laxguy: Exactly, and there are already a growing number of womens only events. A rampage style one just hasn't been made yet. Kat Sweet has been putting on womens jump contests for I think 6 years now.
  • 2 0
@mkotowski1: wow, thanks for jumping to baseless insults loser
  • 2 1
@jasperwesselman: unfortunately these types of people dont want to listen, doesnt matter what you do.. theyve already made up their mind *shrug*
  • 2 2
@jasperwesselman: you don’t own a business bro, plus you already drug evils name through the mud on here and you try to be critical of me
  • 1 2
@laxguy: your post at the top of this thread is ingnorant, justifying my assumptions of your trolling attitude
  • 1 2
@jasperwesselman: slandering your business, jasper your a joke got get rich at specialized
  • 2 1
@mkotowski1: Will do man. Buy a Turbo Levo to calm your angers.
  • 2 1
@laxguy: Hahaha very true. This guy is far beyond help.
  • 5 1
I think the big question is who is going to be the first female rider to get invited. That has to be on the near horizon.
Can't quit say "Be safe", because Rampage is full on cocaine in a can insanity, .....but good luck to all the riders, and have a stellar, crash and injury free weekend. Ride Eternal, Shiny and Chrome!

I remember watching Wades crash on the Canadian RMX and wondering how the hell did he just pop up from that and how the hell did that bike survive. Then I got an RMX and still ride it to this day!!
  • 3 0
What you forget until you see the POVs is the lines they ride are 0 error.... and then they throw cray cray trix on them... geez

 Exactly
  • 2 0
 The crash at 3:19 ...
What can possibly go through the rider's mind a split second before that ... ?
  • 2 0
 "Sh*t, I'm short."
  • 4 0
Not sure what's going through their mind... but I'm pretty sure about what's coming out of their asshole.

This could easily be 30 min long
