Opinion: The Proxy War Between Discovery & Red Bull Is Official
I'm going to miss Red Bull's coverage. Not a huge fan of their beverage, but I will occasionally drink it merely as thanks for them supporting the sport. My hope is that Discovery can put their deeper pockets towards marketing the WC to people interested in mountain biking since it seemed as though the only WC exposure was found in areas where people were already more likely to know about the series (PB, Vital, RB's Website). RB's coverage was great and probably could have raked in more fans and viewers if they had just raised awareness outside of the pre-existing bubble. There are still a lot of mountain bikers out there that are unaware of the WC but would absolutely tune in to some of the races (DH & XC).

4X Pro Tour Adds Two More Rounds for 2022
@CustardCountry: It also doesn't need anywhere near the elevation DH requires, making it far more accessible to other areas of the country. I think the hardest part to overcome is convincing people to ride downhill neck and neck with three other people, which I see organizations like NICA, IMBA, and muni govts being a little more skeptical of.

'Aggro Gravel' is a Thing Now, Apparently
Just did a quick glance at the geometry differences between this and a Rockhopper. The biggest difference is a 10mm shorter chainstay (430 vs. 440) and ~30mm shorter stack on the Dial. Everything else is just a matter of 0.5-degree angle differences and 2-3 mm lengths.

Letter from the Editor: Pinkbike’s Next Chapter with Outside
@teagues: I'm pretty sure they split up last year, and Adventure Project has yet to announce a new partner. It seemed like a mutually beneficial partnership, and really helped AP grow over the past few years without forcing consumers to really pay up.

@bman33: I'd recommend checking out MTB Project, but these mapping platforms are very dependent on where you are. I've found Trailforks and MTB Project to be the two most reliable and easy to use.
