6 Takeaways from Eurobike 2026: Chinese Innovation, eCVTs, and the Changing Bike Industry
E bike haters in the comments are like a car alarm now. Annoying background noise you try to ignore. But keep yelling at those clouds, I'm sure the genie will go back in the bottle if you shake your fist hard enough.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Care What Your Bike Looks Like?
Personal taste. I don't care how my bike or kit looks to others, only how it looks to me. I reckon many folks are concerned about how others perceive them, the comments section regularly confirms that.

Yukon Winter: Fat Biking Through 20 Hours of Darkness
I rode a regular fat bike for multiple years before getting an e fat last year. The e factor makes it so much more enjoyable. We all know you get more distance for your time with an e bike. That time is more valuable when there's only a few hours of daylight to work with. You want to avoid sweating in the winter when outdoors, no matter what activity you're doing. Having the e assist makes body temperature regulation and layer management a lot easier which increases safety. If the groomer hasn't been out, or you're wanting to ride something that doesn't get groomed, having the e makes breaking trail and setting a track more feasible which also benefits the regular fat bikers. More routes become available.
The advantages of an e fat bike over non are greater than a e mtb over non. The cold takes a toll on the battery's range, but I'm so grateful e fats are a thing now.

First Look: Actofive's I-Train is the First Production 32" Wheel Trail Bike
Just gotta flip that stem around. I'm lanky with a bad back and will have a 32" bike someday, but it won't have a xc cockpit.

@mikekazimer: cars are the main reason I don't do road bikes. Trees and rocks are far safer to be around.

Rémy Métailler Partners With Nobl Wheels For 2025
LB is the manufacturer, but that's it. It's Nobl's design. One company manufacturing the parts for another is very common. Giant is the best example. Giant makes the frames and components for a bunch of different brands. When you see a bike that has a house brand bar, stem, hub etc, odds are it came from Giant's factory.

First Ride: Commencal Tempo Power - A Fan Favorite Goes Electric
@carlitouk: I know that, and understand the appeal. What I'm saying is it'll be nice when different motors are no longer needed. If a full power bike weighs and costs the same as a half power one, then get full power and only use as much assist as you want. This bike is a good example of the narrowing gap. It costs the same as many full power bikes and the weight saving is minor enough that it doesn't make much sense.
