Hi Folks! Up for sale is my Pivot Firebird - sad to see it go but changing things up for the coming year. Video: Joe Varndell On Being A Student at MTB University
As someone that's actually completed the course, it's a fantastic opportunity to develop yourself and your riding. The tweed valley is such a good location to be based from and there is a reason so many stay long after they've finished college. Don't listen to these NPCs - there's more to life than driving a Ferrari.

World Cup Racers Share Frustration as Points System Offers No Ranking Points for Semi-Finals
@johniep: i think the issue is more to do with the fact that this year the points system has changed… 30-60th in years gone by would have definitely collected enough points to race by this point in the year as they would have qualified for finals. Now with no points available for semis it’s cutting out a lot of people who are definitely fast enough to be there. Anyone who can get into Semi finals is definitely of “truly elite level” … People coming 40th in the world and are sitting in the top 60 in the overall should definitely be allowed to race.

Norco Sight C1 M

$1800 GBP
2020 Norco Sight C1 This was an excellent bike I purchased at the height of no stock covid madness - it was used for just over a year as a training and race bike. It has been maintained throughout its life by Ride Innerliethen, and they have made sure its all in good working order before the sale. There are usual scuffs as to be expected from normal wear and use, although there was clear protection on a few areas of the frame that have now been removed. Looking for a quick sale, this bike would be perfect for someone wanting to upgrade to a more aggressive bike within the travel bracket or someone looking to get into enduro racing. Specs... Frame - Norco Sight C1 2020 M ( this is still the same frame as used on both the 2021/2022 bikes ) Fork - Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate Shock - RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ Brakes - SRAM Code RSC Wheels - DT Swiss M1700 wheelset, with an EX471 rear rim Drivetrain - Sram X01 mech + shifter, gx cassette, truativ descendant cranks Dropper - RockShox reverb 175mm Bar + Stem - Pivot Carbon bars + Pivot stem (never been used, although there is a small scuff on the bars from transit) Any more questions or want more photos don't hesitate to ask! This bike was a really good all rounder, was really well reviewed when it came out and id happily still be riding it if other deals hadn't have come up for the 2022 season. Id happily swap for a comparable spec gravel/cross bike. Welcome to offers and trades, although I am not looking for another big travel enduro bike. Cheers and thanks Rònan https://www.pinkbike.com/news/review-norco-sight-c1.html https://enduro-mtb.com/en/norco-sight-c1-29-review-2020/
