Review: SRAM's New Maven Brakes - The Big Brake
@OneBikeStand: woah calm down I just had a loose theory I’m hardly saying it’s the cold hard truth, I just figured bike companies probably like options so that they can maximise profits, it’s not exactly a statement that deserves such a volatile response

Review: SRAM's New Maven Brakes - The Big Brake
I see your point but it makes sense for OEM stuff to have loads of different options for bike companies to spec on their builds

First Ride: 2024 Canyon Spectral CF - Evolution Not Revolution
Best cornering bike I’ve ever ridden was 395/439.5 in terms of reach and chainstay length, and i actually reckon having a bike with a proportionally slightly shorter reach and longer chainstay makes for a bike that corners really really well. Then again it’s all influenced a lot by personal preference, but Brian Cahal has been making a case for geometry like that recently and he’s us usually not far off the truth I find

Bike Check: Vali Höll's YT Tues Race Bike
@noodlewitnosteeze: Where have you heard about the performance of them? I am really intrigued by the prospect of a SRAM brake with the power that of something like a Dominion A4 or a Cura 4

Bike Check: Vali Höll's YT Tues Race Bike
Probably has something to do with the fact that the mullet Tues runs an imperial shock so she'd be stuck with a Vivid Coil, and I doubt Rockshox would want it to look like one of their top sponsored riders had chosen a decade-old product over the newer one that is supposedly loads better. I'd imagine the new Tues prototype will allow for either full 29 or mullet on the same frame to get around this issue.
