MET Announces 2022 Mountain Bike Line
I get that half the "press releases" on PB are basically just ads, but this could literally be a banner ad and I'd have just as much information. The only substance written here is the price.

New 'Super Wheel' Prototypes Still Claim to Offer Power Assistance Without a Motor... And We're Still Skeptical
God I love this stupid wheel. If you showed me that video with no context I'd assume it was some kind of surreal comedy sketch. The timing is just too perfect, the way it hangs on to the distant shot of him slowly pedaling up the hill, the goofy music...

36pollici Announces the First Carbon 36er Mountain Bike
I was under the impression that the gyroscopic effect has only a minimal impact on balancing a bike. I found this write-up with some good calculations to reinforce the idea - I'm not saying it's totally negligible, but if increasing the gyroscopic effect was all that useful, I think we'd see some different trends in rim/tire weight, no? Wouldn't you want them as heavy as possible?

21 Cool New Bike Tools For 2022
@richdigital: You're a life saver, I had no idea these existed! I honestly didn't even know the seized bolts were a common problem until reading this thread - just thought I was doing something wrong.

Video: Riding Long After the Sun Sets in 'Night Shift'
I can't speak highly enough about that Outbound Lighting setup. No battery packs to worry about, and it's totally opened up the winter season for me. After-work rides aren't out of the question after October anymore, and I don't even feel like I have to slow down. Best money I've spent on biking. I had a stupid cosmetic issue with one of my lights and Tom was answering my emails from their van at a rest stop, mid-drive from Powder Ridge to Sea Otter, after 42 hours on the road.

Guerrilla Gravity Re-Launches the Pedalhead
@adrennan: I'm all for n+1 but I feel like a Nimble 9 and this would be a bit redundant

Guerrilla Gravity Re-Launches the Pedalhead
Yeah I could be wrong, but I think there's a lot of overlap between people who buy expensive steel hardtails, and people who prefer to build their own bike. If I didn't already have a Canfield I'd seriously consider this - but not with the components they're offering.

First Look: Yeti Goes Electric With the 160E
That aluminum test frame got me thinking... Could this be the way to make gearboxes more mainstream? I bet you could fit a Pinion gearbox in place of the motor, with some clever mounting. Already making the frames for ebikes means less $ spent on new tooling. I'm sure someone has already thought of that, but I haven't seen it done yet...
