Cotic Launches SolarisMAX Steel 29er Hardtail
@Klainmeister: I know, I know, but the tight/loose spot thing drives me nuts. With a sprung tensioner you get consistency. And nothing comes loose or slides on you. Slider dropouts are designed to slide, and so they do. EBB are worse. Later when you want to give the bike a new life, a derailer just bolts right up. But I’ve had this argument a million times.

Cotic Launches SolarisMAX Steel 29er Hardtail
@cy-cotic: There are still a handful of SSers around, but not enough to warrant the addition of a model. I’ve always PREFERRED running a tensioner on my SS rig.

Archer Components' Wireless Electronic D1x Shifter - Review
Since it would be controlling a BB mounted gearbox, you could move the control module off the chainstay and bolt it to the underside of the downtube, where the unusable bottle mounts always are. Another win.
