Video: High Speed Antics in South Africa
Some of the best riding I have seen....but here comes the PB suicide. Probably not the best idea to have a bunch of white dudes with fake dreds ripping around in South Africa. Not quite at black face level but definitely left me with an uneasy feeling.

Video: Mike vs Mike: Geometry Battle - Specialized Stumpjumper vs EVO
Doing a geometry comparison with bikes that have different shocks is probably not the most informative. There is a good chance that some of the heavy, ground hugging feeling Levy described while on the EVO is do to the coil shock.

I am the original owner of this bike and have taken very good care of it. The bike works flawlessly and the only reason I am selling it is because I purchased a 2019 Capra. Twice a year I pull the bike apart and grease all of the pivots and re-pack the bearings. Other than a few small cosmetic paint chips this bike is in great shape with no cracks or scratches on the frame or fork. Upgrades include a 2018 Fox DHX coil shock, and the Rock Shox Lyrik fork has been updated with the 2018 180mm Debonair air spring.

Walmart Launches High-End 'Viathon' Bike Brand
@conoat: I call them enduro dorks. The latest UFO grade carbon bikes with colored decals to match every anodized part on their bikes, enduro helmet with goggles and knee pads around their ankles. The day after the last Rampage was full on trail carnage. Techies and dentists learning the hard way that they are not Lacondeguy. Oh but that is jus weekend riding in Santa Cruz.

The Explainer: What's the Deal with Linkage Forks?
In the past I recall engineers designing linkage forks to achieve a rearward axle path. With the slack head angles that have become the norm these days, I wonder if it is as big of an advantage any more.

Share the Ride: Camden, NJ
Great story. I work for a non profit that teaches bike safety and mechanics as well as giving every child a bike at the end of our program. I am constantly reminded that having a bike is a luxury that is out of reach for many people. On a side note, maybe not the best optics for the Camden Police to show up in full tactical gear when trying to make a connection with under-privileged youth.
