[UPDATE] Adolf Silva Sustains Serious Spinal Injury Following Double Flip Crash at Rampage
If you don't have anything sensible to post in such a situation, just don't post anything man...

Oh my god Adolf please be okay. That was so incredibly hard to watch. I just hope all the other riders get down healthy man... sooooo gutted.

Tom van Steenbergen Shares his Opinion On Final Score at Red Bull Rampage 2024
Thanks to the judges there's now more talk about how disappointed almost everyone is and not about how sick the event was... that's a really significant achievement!

Video: Men's Finals Highlights from Red Bull Rampage 2024
What a sick event it's been! I hope Zink is somewhat okay-ish, but apart from him everybody got down the hill safely. Absolutely insane action, spectacular show! Biggest congrats and THANK YOUS to all the riders and diggers. Also the organizers. Not the judges lol.

Video: Christian Arehart's World First MTB Quad Flip
I definitely see both sides... I can understand the guys who say "soft" landings aren't the real deal but at the same time these tricks would obviously not be possible without modern, safer landing options.. a crash like those of the first attempts most likely wouldn't have been without consequences on a hard dirt landing. So I think I'll just go with being happy to see such tricks become a reality and I'll celebrate the occasions when one of those athletes pulls a really hard trick in a comp even more - like when Rwilly pulls his crazy stuff to dirt from time to time or when Sheeny practised to airbag and then once did the FMX triple to a "real" landing. I'll always prefer being able to see athletes get up from a crash and go for it again to the alternative.

Rampage Judge Darren Berrecloth Speaks Out On 2023 Event
So he basically ignores any criticism, says that nobody who hasn't been on location may participate in the discussion, can't explain why Bienve's second run scored exactly the same as his aborted first run, can't explain why the oh so easy canyon gap line scored very well in the past (Kelly, Szymon), somehow wiggles around Brendan and then finishes with "you just gotta trust our expertise".
